My overall journey at LPU, Jalandhar

Overall Rating
It was pandemic time when I applied for LPU in 2020. I did my schooling of 13yrs in same school so that’s when I decided to check myself whether I would be able to survive in a new place, like to stay and study in new state alone. When I checked a university with all sort of facilities, LPU was in top list on most of the sites. So that made me choose LPU and there are a lot of scholarships available even for sports person. So I would recommend others who want to achieve a lot in their career to choose LPU.
 

Academics Rating
As for B.Com (Hons.) there is no entrance exam. Scholarship will also be provided based on your school marks. Completion of higher secondary is compulsory. In this course, we can learn a lot about Cost Management Accounting and Financial Accounting as core subjects. They have wide options for elective subjects too.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are so brilliants and friendly, everyone that I met in university are very punctual. Faculties are so professional and are selected with care. They never refused to resolve a doubt even after classes. We have apps like LPU Live where we can text faculty in chat. Every class has projector and faculties always come with new activities and make sure the class is always happening.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, LPU does have placement cell. I didn't join, but my friends did, and most of the student got job during their final year and started to work. They conduct training classes for communication and exams weekly. Every minimal doubt can be cleared in placement enquiry section, which can be done in person or via RMS or UMS portal.
 

Hostel Rating
They do have hostel facility. Both AC and Non-AC rooms and mess are available here. Everything is so good. Fee for hostel is expensive. Various PG’s are also available outside the campus, but for safety purposes hostel is best. Girl’s hostel has only women warden and securities so.
 

Infrastructure Rating
When it come to infrastructure, LPU is best for me. Each and every department has a separate block like sports auditorium, student welfare block, central library, and more. LPU is filled with technologies which make everything easy. Even cycles and e-rickshaw are also available inside campus. It has ambulance service, hospital inside the campus itself and a university mall for shopping.
 

Campus Rating
The best 3 years I had, LPU has all sorts of clubs and fests. Everyday at least one program would be happening here. It has food stalls and these are the most crowded place from 1 to 2 PM in campus. Details about fests and others programs are always updated through UMS portal which is accessible to all students.

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.   • LPU Jalandhar Placement Opportunities with Top MNCs

    LPU offers you an average university experience. The curriculum is good. The infrastructure is nice. Classes are comfortable. But it lacks in campus life. There are less number of class tours, industrial visits, or picnics. The factor that made me choose or opt for LPU Jalandhar is the it provides at exposure all India level.     The overall experience that I observed here is a good facility and the advanced technology used. The largest campus with good infrastructure and good environment and I found it better than others because of the placement records. In comparison to other states University it always is a top one.
