Life at National Institute of Technology, Tadepalligudem

Overall Rating
National Institute of Technology is one of the fastest growing NIT in India. It has all modern infrastructures and overall is a pretty decent institute for one's career. The reason I choose this institute is due to its infrastructure. It has latest hostel blocks and has very good facilities. The living comfort is very good at this institute and also it has got great teaching staff.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Electrical and Electronics Engineer (EEE). The requirements for this course in NIT AP is one has to crack JEE Mains. And depending upon the category the eligibility criteria varies. EEE has a very good number of government jobs and that made me motivated in enroll in this course. Also this college has fine number of lab equipment to improve my knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is very well experienced and very well qualified. But currently we are in short of faculty positions which is said to be filled by this year end. But the faculties we have are highly qualified and their style of teaching makes us to listen to them and understand the concepts very clearly. The permanent faculty members here have their doctorate degree and they also have vast knowledge regarding their subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our institute. They try their best in assisting us in our placements and the placements are also very good in our institute. The placement percentage is of 85% and the placement cell works so hard to gather the best companies and to help students achieve their goal.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. The hostels are pretty good and for each year students there are different hostel blocks. The institute even has separate mess for each year students. We have Wi-Fi facility which is very decent and also have drinking water 24/7 and we have hot water facilities is some blocks. The hostel life is very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute’s infrastructure is very good as it is latest built. There are two large blocks for academics and two another blocks for the labs. There is another block for administrative purposes and many small blocks for hostels. They are also so good. We also have got a canteen in the campus. Overall the infrastructure of the institute is very decent and peaceful.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is so good and peaceful. There are many clubs for each individual interests for example, AI and robotics club, dancing clubs, singing clubs, etc. Different events are also celebrated in the institute like Republic Day, Independence Day, and Teachers Day. Two fests are also organised here, they are Vulcunzy Fest and Techkriya Fest. Techkriya Fest concentrates on technical advancement and Vulcunzy is a cultural fest.

    Overall Rating
    Overall, I have had a good experience in the past 3 years. Although this college may not be the top choice, it is adequate for those with average JEE mains scores. If you have an average JEE Main score and want to enroll in a government recognized institution, this college may be the best option. Currently, I am in the ECE Branch, and I would say that this branch is doing pretty well academically. When looking at all aspects of college, I would say it's above average.... Read Full Review

    My experience in my college is very good and I have collected many memories. Even though I had spent little time in college because of lockdown I enjoyed a lot in college when we stayed.
