My views about MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women

Overall Rating
It has higher placements statistics compared to any co-ed colleges of Pune. It is an autonomous college hence its syllabus is also updated and changed according to required industrial needs. The environment of college is very peaceful and green due to huge number of trees. It is definitely the best college for girls.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides B.Tech degree in Computer, IT, ENTC, Mechanical and Instrumentation Engineering. The academic curriculum is updated regularly in some specific years. Along with studies, many subjects like German, French, Japanese, Personality development as well as Culinary, Acting, Gardening, Dancing, Painting and more are taught under Liberal Learning in First Year because of National Education Policy. It is one of the top engineering colleges of Pune which needs higher JEE or Maharashtra CET cut -off.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is supportive and cooperative when it comes to student's participation in extracurricular activities. Some of the teachers are master of their subjects, while others are new teachers of subjects making them not able to teach decently to students. Some of teachers don't have enough knowledge of subjects. The thing I dislike about college is excellent and highly qualified teachers teach only to lower branches like Mechanical and Instrumentation while new faculty and teachers with fewer calibers are for upper branches (ENTC) in first year due to common subjects of these branches.
 

Placement Rating
The college has its own placement cell known as Training and Placement Cell. The placement cell helps students to get placed and also contacts various companies to visit college for on - campus placements. The highest package offered was 55 LPA by Microsoft in 2024, while average package is around 12- 15 LPA. Hence, MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women has good placement ratio. The college guarantees 95% placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Free Wi-Fi facilities are available in the hostel. Wi-Fi is free in college premises as well. Along with this washing machines are also available which is paid for every 10 washes. It also includes separate beds and study tables for each student in a room. The food is nutritious and on Sunday special kind of food is served.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The buildings are well-lit, and surroundings are taken care of. The classrooms are spacious and consist of smart boards and white board. The overall surroundings are green and peaceful. Most of the branches have separate buildings for them. The classrooms are ventilated and cleaned. The college library has various copies of subject books along with extra reading books. The college also has study room and discussion room for students to study individually and in groups respectively.
 

Campus Rating
The college has variety of clubs which are highly active in conducting various activities and participating in national and state level competitions. The college also has various fests for cultural, sports, technical which has high budget and a most awaiting part for students. The college also follows anti - ragging, hence the senior and junior bonds are in good terms. Hence, Cummins college has awesome campus life.
