My Experience at Vemu Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
At first my overall college experience was different as I had two years of gap between high school year and my college year. The institution and the environment were new, but I was still able to cope up with the fellow pioneers. There were various activities conducted at first that help to build the rapport around the students. It is a striving environment, so going to this institute will not only challenge but it will also help you to know about different cultures.
 

Academics Rating
The course I selected was CSE. At first I was not much interested into computers, but after learning from my faculty, I get to know many interesting things about the programming world and it is quite easy as they teach us in a practical environment with guides from across the country. The eligibility is either we can enter through EAMCET exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government, but others can also enter through Management Quota.
 

Faculty Rating
We have around 100 faculty members, where each one of them has their own unique way of teaching. Some professors teach through presentations while some of them teach through a practical way. Some of them even give topics to the students and help students in organising seminar about those topics.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement training cell, where we get training for various rounds in an interview including the technical and soft skills.
 

Hostel Rating
We have hostels for both boys and girls, even faculty can stay there. There is a gym inside the hostel that helps the students to stay fit. But I do not know much about the hostel life as I am a day scholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are eight different blocks and each block has its own HODs. Each having unique structure and various laboratories. We have a block allotted for MBA & MCA. There is a library where students of any department can come to get extra information and reference based on their subjects.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is awesome, as we get to strive hard for the challenges given to us by the teachers. There are three to four fests conducted each year and also project expo is also conducted. We have seminars and presentations which helps the students to overcome the stage fear and also to speak up to the crowd. Till now, the journey was amazing as we embarked in it.

    In our institute there are many good things to choose. The first one is nature, in our campus the greenery is one of the most important thing for the student’s success as it provides a pleasant and peaceful environment. Next thing is Library and faculty.     Our VEMU Institute of Technology is like a family. The bond between lecturers and students are like friends. When coming to the academics, it can be very easy for us because our faculty gives a detailed explanation of the topic. The infrastructure is good as it is maintained neatly and cleanly.
