Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious colleges to study. With a set of most qualified professors, it provides quality education. It also has several non academic events making college life full of enthusiasm. The college has one of the highest number of research enthusiasts, thus it has one of the most innovative minds of the country.
 

Academics Rating
Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata has been ranked among one of the top colleges in India. The college provides various courses in both undergraduate as well as post graduate through degrees in MBBS, MD, MS as well as B.Sc Nursing. It encourages research and many faculties and students have published national and international papers.
 

Faculty Rating
The college has well experienced and qualified faculty. Many faculty members are renowned experts in their fields. The faculty gives all sorts of help both in terms of subject within the syllabus or answering the doubts of the curious minds. They leave no stone unturned to give us the best quality of study materials in the form of PDF or PPT. Also the faculty of Psychology helps us with all sorts of non academic help.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel of NRS Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata provides an array of facilities. We can actually use any electrical appliances except AC. I literally mean so, starting from electric kettles, induction ovens, garment steamers, hair straightener, we can use anything. We are also provided with the facility of using washing machines with 2 washing machines per floor. There are also two elevators and a gym room. And yes food, food is undoubtedly very good with a wide variety of options.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has undoubtedly one of the biggest campuses in West Bengal. It has over 10 buildings covering the different departments. It also has a central library covering almost 4000 sq. meter of area with a seating capacity of around 400 students. The campus also has a beautiful lake providing a very refreshing atmosphere after a hectic day.
 

Campus Rating
There are a number of academic as well as non academic fests. Academically, quite a number of workshops and seminars in different fields are held which helps in enhancing the thinking ability, experience as well as the hands on skill of the students. Besides the academic seminars, there are also a number of non academic fests where students can explore their hobbies or any other talents. Overall, the hectic life of being a medical student is very well balanced by the enriching college life.
