BBAU is One of the Top Central Universities

Overall Rating
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a minority university where 50% seats are reserved for SC / ST community although rests of the seats are open for other students. It is a central university with NIRF ranking of 33 which is improving every year. Atmosphere of university is great. It is located in Lucknow which is a one of the finest tier 2 cities of our country.
 

Academics Rating
Just like all the central universities, admissions in BBAU is through CUET UG and PG. Being a central university, the initial cutoff is usually high although by 5th or 6th counseling even a students with average marks may get the seats although this depend on the course. I had enrolled for M.Sc Microbiology as this institute is famous for its research in Microbiology.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of university is very friendly. One can ask anything related to course and teachers try their best to help the students. There are multiple resource person which may also take your classes incase professors are busy. All the classrooms are equipped with smart class which is enabled by PowerPoint Presentations for teaching.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of university is pretty average. Most of the courses do not have many campus placements in core subject although courses such as B.Tech and M.Tech have placements from various companies like TCS, Accenture, Nagaro, Reliance, etc. Average package lies between 3, 40, 000 to 3, and 60,000. The maximum package was from B.Tech Computer Science with a student getting package of 8, 00,000 per annum in 2023.
 

Hostel Rating
Girls and boys have separate hostels. Among boys, there are 3 hostels each dived in 2 phases. Rooms are allotted on the basis of marks and distance from hometown. Hostel rooms have basic facilities like bed, balcony, fan Wi-Fi, water cooler, etc. Each room is allotted to at least 2 students. Currently there is heavy waiting list for hostel. One can opt for PG or rent a room in nearby location although it won't be cheap in comparison to hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the university is good. There is a central library which has more than 2000 books. Other than that every college has its own parking area, computer lab, and other course specific laboratories. Campus has multiple sports arena for indoor and outdoor sports. There is a swimming pool and gym for interested students. There are many autos which are sponsored by University within the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of BBAU is great. Students and teachers share great rapport. There are multiple fests that are organised by University on various occasions. Almost all festivals are celebrated in campus with great enthusiasm. Campus is full of lush green trees. Nearby area has various clubs and café so that student can enjoy their college life along with studies.

    For professional courses like MBA, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University is a very good choice. It has been ranked 78 out of 125 in India 2023 and ranked 9 in the Uttar Pradesh. Overall academic and placements are good. Well experienced teacher and staff is there and the library (Buddha Central Library BBAU) is quite famous nationwide. Classroom facilities are also good.     Overall my experience in Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is pretty good. Baba Saheb Bhim Rao University is a reputed university. Faculty is very supportive and library is so beautiful. Healthy environment which so much greenery. You can also enroll yourself for BBAU for different courses. Placement rate is average.
