My experience with the university has been very good so far, as the university is spread over around 65 acres, offers various courses, and has eight schools. It has courses ranging from Engineering, Law, Design, Media, etc. I chose this college to pursue my studies, as it provides opportunity to choose various courses and being a law student, the university offers three courses under law itself. The faculties are encouraging and have great knowledge; and the same is shared with the students as well. Apart from these, the university also conducts various cultural activities as mind refreshment from the academics.

The School of Law at Presidency University offers three courses. B.A LL.B (Hons.), BBA LL.B (Hons.), and B.Com LLB (Hons.). One can choose any course in which they are interested. The law subjects remain the same while the regular degree subjects differ. One is eligible to enroll for the course provided that they have finished their 2nd PU or 12th with a minimum percentage ranging from 45-50%. Apart from the regular studies, the school of law conducts various competitions that provide real-life experience to the students.

The faculty members are very friendly and supportive. They have deep knowledge in the subject that they teach. We have around 50+ teachers who teach the law students. The faculty members are highly qualified, as a few of them have completed their Ph.D and a few are pursuing. The style of teaching is more discussion-based, experimental, and class-engaging. The teaching style varies from faculty to faculty as they come up with new ideas for their class participation.

Yes, the university has a Placement Cell, and it does its best to set up the lives of the students. The placements range around 3 LPA minimum and 13 LPA maximum. The students need to maintain a minimum CGPA to get placed. Huge companies and firms hire the best students. The students are given the opportunity to choose their basket, which helps them to get placed in the future. The option of choosing a variety of electives is given in the third year.

The University provides hostel facility to the students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with double and triple sharing provisions. The food served is homely, and the students enjoy various amenities like gym, basketball court, cricket ground, etc. Medical assistance is provided to the hostellers 24x7. Internet is provided 24x7 as well. Hence, the students are provided with all the essential requirements. And there are also various shops like juice centers, snacks, and others.

The infrastructure is the highlighting part of the university. It has different blocks for various schools. Each block is built in such a way that it gives a picture of what block that is. Like for the School of Law Block, it has various paintings of the judges who served in various courts. Likewise, the university has various labs for the practical sessions. The university also has an auditorium, seminar halls, and various restaurants and food joints. It also has a fountain and lawn / garden area where the students can spend their leisure and free hours. It also has stationary shops, which can be accessed at any time of the day.

Overall, the campus life is really good. The university has around 15,000 students belonging to various schools. Apart from the study life, the university engages itself in various fests. Recently, one of the fests was sponsored by India Today. During the fests, celebrities are invited and students from other universities also come to these events. Apart from the fests, the university has many clubs. A few clubs are part of only one school, whereas others are for the entire university. Importantly, the university has NCC and NSS, which are really helpful for the students. Therefore, apart from the studies, the university does well in the cultural activities too. The university also teams up with other universities for various competitions, webinars, and workshops as well.
