An Overview of BITS, South Goa

Overall Rating
The overall experience in the campus so far has been amazing. The professors have been really good to us; all sorts of support are provided to the students with an entrepreneurial mindset. The campus life as a whole is very refreshing, not to forget about the campus environment; it is simply next level, green plants and trees all over give us a peaceful environment.
 

Academics Rating
Computer Science is one of the most sort after course in BITS Pilani, the best private university in the country. It is a very appreciable task to get admission in the institute. The basic requirements are minimum of 75% in board exams and also aspiring students should attempt BITSAT examination and the seats will be allotted based on their BITSAT score.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well qualified; their style of teaching is very understandable. They are willing to solve the doubts of the students and are very friendly with students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Placement Cell helps the student to acquire jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel life is really good. The facilities are pretty good, but the only drawback is that there is no AC in hostel rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is first class, the Academic Blocks are pretty new, and the campus environment is very peaceful and refreshing. The infrastructure is pretty spacious to accommodate students on campus. The SAC is pretty good, and many other amenities needed for the students are also available on the campus. The classrooms are air conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life overall is very engaging, and the senior-junior relationship is very good on campus. Crowding is not that much, because the campus is pretty big. The clubs are very active and conduct a lot of activities which are engaging as well as help the students to amplify their talents of interest and also benefit their career.

    Overall Rating
    College is good, startup culture is very good, and it's really good for exposure. People are friendly and seniors will help you a lot. Good for networking and all. Fees is just a bit high but it's manageable if you get scholarship, which many people get.     BITS Pilani University is among the Tier-1 Engineering colleges in India. It has fantastic research and development opportunities. Having spent one entire semester on the campus, I consider myself eligible to write this review.     BITS Goa has a very well infrastructure although it rains heavily here you can go to mess, hostels and classrooms without getting wet because they built roof for paths. This institute is very beautiful although it's small compared to other branches like Pilani and Hyderabad. I choose this institute because I wanted CS course.     I never thought that I would get to be a part of such esteemed institute. It was a like I am in my dream when I got here and saw the beautiful campus, amazing infrastructure, and such qualified faculty. It is a world full of opportunities. The amount of trust it has on its student is clearly visible through their ‘zero attendance’ policy, which means we do not have any attendance taken in our classes; we not be a hurdle for a student's valuable time.
