NIT Jamshedpur is an Institution lying in the lap of nature with a lush green campus. The campus is not so vibrant but good enough to keep you engaged throughout the year. Tough academics, hectic events and memorable fests together will keep you busy doing the mid of the semesters. City life is actually dull, so most of the time you will be going to find yourself hanging around at random places in the campus. NIT Jamshedpur has excellent facilities and strong placement record. It has Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D programs. Its campus has descent infrastructure and it's developing. The institute is a fully Wi-Fi enabled across academic building, lecture halls, library and hostels rooms.... Read Full Review

The placements of the college are really good and the campus is ragging free. Also we get single room hostel from 2nd year (for boys). The seniors are friendly. The college is very safe for girls. Although the male female ratio is not really good. Academic pressure is not much and one can easily get through exams by studying for few days.... Read Full Review

I am currently pursuing Bachelors of Technology at NIT Jamshedpur in Electrical Engineering Branch. This is an Institute of National Importance. I have just completed my first year. Talking about my overall experience it is great till now. If you are not getting IIT's or top 3 NIT'S it would be a great choice as placement ratio and stats are very good in comparison to other NIT's.
