My big brother has also done his master's degree from Allahabad University, he suggested me this university. From class 10th, I'm interested in mathematics, so I choose to persue my graduation degree in mathematics.I think, this is the best university where you can balance your academics as well as you can prepare for competitive exams. Applied mathematics is a crazy subject, if you really love mathematics then I'm damn sure you will love this 3 year experience of your graduation in this university

Firstly you have to appear in an entrance exam, where you have to score good marks which is around 160 out of 300 to get admission (this is for general category students, for OBC and other category 150 is safe score), after this, their is document verification process done by collage authority where they cross check your documents like 10th and 12th marksheets ,aadhar card,T.C and some other basic documents.

Faculties are good. In mathematics department, most of the professors had done their Ph.D from IIT and other prestigious universities and some of them are expert in their respective fields. My favourite professor was Nitin Dixit sir,HOD of maths department. He always makes you feel comfortable so that you can ask your doubt without hesitating. I think all the professors are too good and supportive.

Their is placement cell, which helps students in acquiring jobs. Since I was interested in higher studies so I didn't participate in college placement but few of my friends got good placements. In our batch the highest package was around 12lakh per annum. Average package of our college is 5-6LPA

For hostel, you have score very good marks because hostel fees is very low, it is about 12000 per year. I didn't get hostel but my friends always told me that food quality of hostel mess is not soo good, few of them had taken tiffin service. Infrastructure is good, you get a single room, chair, table and an almirah. Their are also private hostels and PG near the college whose monthly fees are Rs. 4000-4500.

Infrastructure of our is good. Every year, government provides a good amount of money for renovation of college, entire campus is environment friendly and plastic free, you will love the fresh air inside the college. Their is a central library which has huge collection of reasearch paper's, novel and books .

Every year, college organises annual function along with seniors who organise freshers party. My personal favourite time was winter season because in winter, college organises sports week in which students participate in different sports like cricket, football, volleyball, kho kho and kabaddi. It countinues for 6-7days.
