A genuine opinion on Vignan's Institute of Information Technology, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
My institute is located in a vast area. Since it is in the outskirts of the city, it has a peaceful environment to study. Placements statistics are generally 50% and the companies visiting the institute for hiring the students offer less packages.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are very standardized. The faculties are very strict academically towards the students. Students have to maintain their academic performance and discipline.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are strict in my institute. They are also friendly and prepare the students for the placements so as to make us lead a good life.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are provided quite well in this campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are not so good and the authorities should improve the electricity and Wi-Fi connections. The mess food is average. Medical facilities provided to the students are average. The rooms of the hostel should be renovated.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good in this campus. Each and every department has different buildings and laboratory for every branch. Lab facility is really good especially for CSE students. Also, faculty members are very friendly with the students. Student clubs are present and it is an eco-friendly campus for students to study well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. Fests and events are conducted sometimes. Freshers and Annual Celebration are also organised. One huge event called Yuvatharang is conducted by the institute annually.

The main reason to choose this institute was the campus; it is very peaceful and away from the city with a beautiful environment.     My overall experience Vignan’s IIT is good. I choose this institute because it is very famous for its placements and training. It is a disciplined institute.     I like my institute as the environment, infrastructure and maintenance is good. First of all, my 1st year experience is amazing. The time table is good and we had the time to adjust ourselves to our institute routine. My experience was good until I'm in 2nd year as the curriculum little bit suffered due to the change in staff.     Overall, the institute experience is really good and each and every day is memorable. The infrastructure is well maintained, and canteen is also available serving a wide range of snacks and meals. Modern teaching tools are used for delivering lectures in the classrooms. Weekly Exams are conducted, and those exams are also strictly monitored by the faculty members. Coming to the fests, it will be one of the best moments of Engineering life.... Read Full Review
