PCST Indore helped me a lot in taking a step forward in meeting my professional goals

Overall Rating
PCST Indore is a one of that college in Indore which is accredited by Rajeev Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyala, Bhopal. The college is also associated with D.A.V.V Indore. Admission in the college is made through MP PET exam score cards and counseling sessions. Management of the college is running the Institution very smoothly.
 

Academics Rating
I joined Bachelor of Engineering and took Information Technology as the main specialization. The year was 2008. Though there were no criteria of minimum qualifying marks in the last examination or in 12th but score card of entrance examination Like MP PET was mandatory. I was afraid in the initial days about my decision of joining this college but the faculties helped me in realising that the college will surely not hamper my progress. But what matters at the end is a high paying job, and I was one of the lucky students to get the college placement.
 

Faculty Rating
In the I.T. department of the college we had 8 faculty members at that time. Total faculties were around 30. But if you ask about the experience , there were only 3 powerful faculties in IT department having more than 9+ years of prior service and rest were having 3 or 4 years experience. Most of the faculties were holding Masters degree but teaching methodology was good but not so impressive.
 

Placement Rating
During 2012, TnP cell of the college improvised itself by appointing Naveen Gurjar as the Head TPO. He succeeded in bringing some of the giant IT companies like Hexaware and CSC on board and also supported unplaced students to grab a job either in startups or small-mid size companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility was not available at the college campus so we use to reside in private hostels near by the college. But a canteen was there which was not so good in terms of taste and quality of edible products.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus was undoubtedly lavish and green. It's a 40 acre campus with no hostel and a small canteen. Ralamandal hills added extra beauty to the campus. Classrooms were big and ventilated. Library was equipped with lots of books. Laboratories were old style but equipped with latest equipments. Workshop was near the play ground and was having every necessary equipments and machines. There were 2 Auditorium of having seating capacity of more than 500 students.
 

Campus Rating
Over all the life was good in the college. There were few clubs to join, big play ground to play, a garden to host annual functions and other events. The most memorable was UMANG which is still celebrated as the college annual function day for 3 days. Alumni meet is also conducted every year as we 2012 batch use to get the invitation.
