Haldia Institute of Technology: Best Institute of West Bengal

Overall Rating
My experience at the institute was very good. Overall, it is a very good platform for pursuing studies and extra activities like project making, car designing, and other sports activities are also conducted. All types of activities are held in the institute; you can play cricket, football, basketball, badminton and all others indoor and outdoor games in the institute and you will get gym facility as well.
 

Academics Rating
Our academic syllabus was well designed according to GATE exam and other competitive exams. The students enjoy the classes in the first year we have to study the fundamentals but from the second year onwards we have to study the core subjects that we have chosen. Exams are conducted from time to time.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty was very helpful towards the students. They teach you very well and help you in any situation; and if you are interested in research and projects, they will definitely help you because many of faculty members are currently involved in research projects.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities provided to the students was very good with an average of 5-6 LPA and highest ranging from 7-12 LPA. Many renowned companies visit the institute to hire the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility provided to us was very good. You get free Wi-Fi services and hostel fee is very less.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute has a very famous infrastructure and the building’s architecture is amazing; so you can enjoy roaming here and there. Apart from this, the institute has various buildings and a beautiful garden.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is very neat and clean; no smoking and ragging is allowed in the institute campus. You can enjoy the campus life to its fullest and in the night, you can play, dance or enjoy in other recreational activities in the hostel and ground since the institute has big grounds.

    I gave JEE Mains and couldn't make it into any IIT/NIT then I gave WBJEE and got this college. Campus is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Canteen, gym, and library everything is too good. Overall, it's a good college. There are many clubs and societies which will help you in your personal growth.     I have been admitted in this college in 2023 in CSE department. My WBJEE rank 4450. With this rank I choose this college because of it's being an oldest institution with great alumni network.     I didn't get the IITs and NITs through JEE Mains Rank. So I decided to take admission through WBJEE Rank in West Bengal in which I secured 10544 Rank. Through Counselling I got Information Technology Branch in Haldia Institute of Technology. IT Branch in our college is excellent as it provides many extra opportunities for many students to exercise their tech skills.     I got admission into the ECE branch in Haldia Institute of Technology through the WBJEE rank of around 24,000. Currently I'm in the first year so the overall experience is good.     Hello, I recently Passed out from Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT), West Bengal. The first impression of the college when I came for admission formalities was average because of the remote location. To be honest, I was disappointed because location, it’s just outside Kolkata. Don't take your decision based on the location, the college has much more to give. The most important thing is that the fees of the college are less in comparison to other private colleges.
