Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a premium college affiliated with Delhi University. What made me choose this college was their NIRF ranking and its state-of-art infrastructure. The college has fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs along with excellent reputation in their major courses of Computer Science, Management Studies, Statistics, and many more. Even after being an off-campus college, the campus life here is very happening and exciting with events happening every other week and the college values studies equally as extra-curricular.

BMS - Bachelor of Management Studies is a very practical degree that lies between courses like BBA and B.Com which are either too theoretical or just don't offer the subjects that provide you the relevant industry exposure and skills. This course is a blend of both and covers all Commerce, Management, and Entrepreneurship subjects. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College ranks 2nd for BMS Course and you can get into DDUC’s BMS by clearing CUET exam with the following subjects: 1 language + General Science + Mathematics. The cutoff here lies in a range of 600-610 out of 650 marks.

The teachers of this Course are highly experienced with industry experience including experience in Statistics research, Business Analytics research. Few faculties have also been past aspirants of UPSC. Therefore, it's justified to say they bring a lot of experience and guidance with them. A lot of teachers prefer teaching in a free manner, meaning that students will be able to study their subjects at their own pace, but they will provide all the materials and help when needed during exams and otherwise as well. All teachers are open for after-hours discussion.

DDUC’s BMS course has better placements than other courses in the college because it has a separate Placement Cell that caters to only BMS students in not only securing good placements but in career related skills and internships as well. They have a strong Alumni network with people working in foreign companies and are enrolled in top IIMs. They provide you industry exposure by holding Alumni Meets and prepare you well with other resources before you start your corporate journey.

The hostels are well equipped with all the necessary facilities like AC hall, TV, easy curfew timings, clean bathrooms and spacious dorms. There are separate hostel buildings for girls’ hostel and boys’ hostel the hostel mess is also good and spacious and provides variety of cuisines for lunch and dinner. Hostel has table tennis, badminton court and gym facilities for recreation.

The college has one main building with 6 floors and an adjacent building for faculty residence and the hostels are on-campus as well. It has a beautiful auditorium on the ground floor that is spacious. It has a well-maintained library built in 3 floors. Labs for different courses on their respective floors are available such as Chemistry Labs, Zoology Labs, Physics Lab, Electronics Lab and a separate Computer Lab for various courses.

The college has bustling campus life with many other colleges located in the same area; so, plenty of fests and engagement activities are available for the students apart from DDUC's own Annual Fest - Kalrav. The college has several active societies and clubs in collaboration with the prestigious organizations like: 180Dc, TedX, Enactus, Marketing Society, Women Development Cell and many more for professional help and cultural inclusion.
