Maharaja Agrasen institute of management studies : Promoting a dynamic learning environment

Overall Rating
I chose MAIMS because it has good approach towards academic and also have opportunity for self development. The flexible attendance policy helps me to keep more focus on my skills other than the skill provided by the institute. Faculty also helps us in solving our doubts related to our future.
 

Academics Rating
The BA (Hons.) in Economics program at MAIMS is structured in a good way that if we try to keep up with syllabus then it is not a big deal to have 8.5 CGPA. Also from 2025-2026 academic year, BA (Hons.) in Economics program will be of four years. I have gone through new syllabus and it is much better as there is incorporation of practicals as well as keep focus also on interview preparation and data analysis. Admission for this course was made through the seat allotment system of IPU CET according to its rank institute is allotted.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Economics department is experienced and knowledgeable. Faculties also help us in solving any kind of doubts, whether they are related to academics, personal life or career.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. It helps student but we can’t be fully dependent on institute for placements. So students need to apply for off-campus placements also.
 

Hostel Rating
In the campus, there is an accommodation facility for boys. All kinds of rooms are available in the hostel, for example AC or Non-AC and single, double or triple sharing at different fees. Hostel mess provides good quality food. It also has different types of dishes (sometime it also includes Chinese). But for the girls, there is PG near the institute. Distance of the institute and PG is approximately of 2-5 minutes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of MAIMS is good there are AC in every classroom along with proper lighting so that students can concentrate in the lecture completely. There are two libraries which provide us with a book bank for full course till graduation. We can sit in library for as much as we want to for to study and it is also well structured.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life of the institute is good for both studies and fun. The campus of the institutes have enough space to spend quality time with friends along and engaging in fun activities such as jamming sessions with friends. There are many clubs also in our campus like Compact, Rotract, etc. which help students in building connections. Institute also hosts sport tournament and fests at regular interval. Last year Raftaar performed in our institute along with many standup comedians also performed like Ashish Solanki.

  • MAIMS, New Delhi: One of the best Law college

    MAIMS need no introduction as it is one the best institutes in Delhi. This is my third year and still looks like the first as our institute is among one of the most happening institutes of Delhi.   • Best canteen and hostel facilities.
     

    Overall Rating
    The overall review of this college stands very clear. It’s a developing college that’s trying to get better day by day. It has started to provide new facilities for the welfare of students like nearest metro station, bus pick up facility and breakfast facilities. The placement cell is also getting active and eventually it will be a great college. For now it's a mediocre college with students in every field.   • A detailed review on MAIMS
     

    Overall Rating
    The law department of MAIMS is bringing a lot of change now by organising law fests, moot court competitions and inviting some reputed advocates, solicitor, lawyer and judge for sharing their working experience with the students and encouraging them to work hard for their future. The location of the college is little bit remote from main Delhi area and nearby metro station is 3-4 km far from MAIMS.     Overall Rating
    MAIMS have really good infrastructure, faculty and crowd. I chose this college as it is the top college of IPU. College do not organise any trips sadly but it conducts fest, events and workshops occasionally. It also provides on campus placements to most of its students.
