My Opinion over IITDM, Jabalpur

Overall Rating
My institute has variety of courses. Institute has lush green campus. Infrastructure of IITDM is top notch. Institute maintains good balance of education and extracurricular activities. Hence, overall campus is good and provides an excellent experience.
 

Academics Rating
The academic calendar is very well designed for the students to learn in productive and efficient way. Students need to give tests regularly as there is continuous evaluation process. For CSE, week days are quite hectic.
 

Faculty Rating
In institute, there are very well educated faculties. All subjects’ faculties are very friendly in nature and very helpful for answering any kind of queries whether it's personal or related to studies. Most of the senior faculties are hear since starting of this institute. TAs along with professor is very friendly towards students. Our classes are very interactive so that it's helpful for communication skills. Institute also allows senior students to take lecture for guiding and helping junior student and clearing there queries.
 

Placement Rating
Like most of tier-1 institutes, our institute too has placement cell which regularly provides information about internships and placement opportunities (from not only India but along entire world).
 

Hostel Rating
In our campus, there are total 6 hostels. All of them are well maintained and have good infrastructure.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute infrastructure is mainly consist of Lecture Hall and Tutorial Complex, Core Complex, Computer Center cum Library. All of these are well furnished and provides very good experience. LHTC is surrounded with green grass and lots of followers which makes it more attractive. In our campus there is Primary Health Care Center considering students welfare.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very important factor for selecting any institute. Institute is out of city so there is not such crowd. In our institute, there are many clubs and all of them will encourage you to do well in particular skill. Students would love to explore the campus in their free time.

    The institute offers a variety of courses and has good placements which make it one of India's prestigious institutes. It has good clubs like Cultural Club, Technical Club and Sports Club in which students can participate and enjoy their institute life by gaining knowledge.     Overall Rating
    IIITDM Jabalpur was really a good experience. I enjoyed a lot and gained a good amount of knowledge from the institute. The college life is good here. The main thing I love in the college is interaction between the seniors and juniors. The culture of the college impressed me. I choose this college because of three reasons. One is my JEE MAINS rank and other is the average package and median package, and the last one is the faculty due to their qualification from well known institutes.... Read Full Review

    Well if you go by placements then this institute has better placements than most other NITs which you would get at the same rank. After spending a year I can say it has a very good environment for both your personality development and overall growth. You will have good junior and senior bond and can ask for any help from your seniors. The college life is good and satisfactory; you would enjoy the festivals a lot.     I am a 1st year student at IIITDMJ. I am overall very happy with my experience at the college. The campus is good and spacious. The hostels are pretty good compared to other colleges. The mess food is average. We only have vegetarian food in the mess, but from April 2024, non-veg will also be served in the mess. The faculty that have taught me so far, have been good.   • Affordable Education at IIITDM Jabalpur: Fees and Scholarships

    My experience at this college has been positive overall, despite a few drawbacks in infrastructure like shared hostel rooms, average mess food, and the remote location. The placements are the college's strongest aspect but with recession it had experienced some downfall still better than many NITs and IITs of India.
