My Thoughts on Maharaja Bir Bikram College

Overall Rating
I am a first year student in Maharaja Bir Bikram College. I like the environment of this institute and the education is normal. The college campus is quite large and it is one of the popular colleges in Tripura and is a government general degree college.
 

Academics Rating
I have been pursuing Zoology Undergraduate Program. The admission process is based on the merit of the 12th standard. This program teaches us about the animal’s life, history, and their interaction with ecosystem.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Zoology department are kind and very friendly with the students. They are helpful in personal problems also. Most of the faculty members have decent style of teaching. Each of them uses modern aids for teaching in the lectures.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cells but this is a general degree college so placements are limited.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is big. There is a separate library building with many books of each course. The Science block is around 300 meter away from main building. There is a large cricket stadium with lighting and a football ground and a volleyball court. The buildings are old and needs refurbishment.
 

Campus Rating
The life in Maharaja Bir Bikram College is fun. There are many fests which are organized by faculties and students. There a student club in this college and many inter-department sports competition are organized, in most of the students take part. The college is bit crowded. However, the campus is pollution free because of greenery.
