Concise Review of PICT, Pune

Overall Rating
Pune Institute of Computer Technology is very good institute for placement and technical studies. It also helps in personality development. The institute is strict. The teaching staff is quite good. There are several clubs for activities and technical events.
 

Academics Rating
Total 5 UG (different streams in B.Tech) and 2 PG courses are offered by the institute. The Bachelors courses are Computer Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering. For Entry in the courses, you have to give MHT-CET or JEE entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is great and supportive. Though, they very stern for assignment submission and academics. All of them help slow learners by take extra lectures to teach them. Regular assessment also takes place.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is really very good and nearly all students are placed with good CTC. The Training and Placement Cell of institute works very hard and due to which many companies visit the institute. It also provides some of the internship opportunity to the students so that they can gain some experience.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is average and Mess is not up the mark in terms of quality of the meals provided. Institute hostel for boys is quite expensive. The girl’s hostel is very good and safe with great infrastructure and services.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the institute needs some renovation. All the facilities have great potential of improvement. Though for lectures, the classrooms are good and labs also have good facilities
 

Campus Rating
Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) has quite decent campus life. Though, we have fun in the events. The institute is definitely for the students who like to focus over their studies.

    So basically, I chose PICT just like others because of it being a reputed institute. And, to be very honest, the institute seems to be living up to its expectations as of now. I have been in this institute for more than a year now, and have seen 2 full blown placement seasons here. You get shocked seeing the pay packages which the visiting companies offer.     Overall, institute is best in terms of academics and placement but in terms of the campus life, sports activity is not up to the mark. Teachers are very good in this college and also seniors are good in this college. Overall students here are very sincere.... Read Full Review

    As a 3rd year student studying in PICT’s Information Technology (IT) branch. It feels amazing to be the part of this institution as everyday feels like real competition. My journey in this institute is super transformative in many aspects. I was in 12th standard, PICT was one of my dream institutes.     PICT is a great college with many smart minds in the campus. The overall environment of Pune Institute of Computer Technology is studious and focused on careers. The canteen provides decent quality and affordable food and the staff is very cooperative.
