My Journey in BIT Mesra

Overall Rating
BIT Mesra is one of the best technical institutes in Jharkhand which is known for its placements. The fee structure of the institute can be pretty high for some students.
 

Academics Rating
IT section of BIT Mesra is very good but the core section is not up to the mark. The admission process is through the JEE Mains followed by JoSAA counseling. The institute cutoff is very high as compared to other institutes. The Computer Science is one of the most popular branches in India which is why it has pretty high cut-off.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of BIT Mesra is well qualified and PhD holders. The teaching method is quite well and the syllabus is new as compared to other institutes.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of BIT Mesra is very appreciable. The average package is offered is 10 LPA and the highest package offered is 44 LPA which is quite impressive.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is very good but the fee is very high. There are 13 hostels in BIT Mesra in which 11 are for boys and 2 are for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very impressive. The main gate of infrastructure is beautiful. The campus size is very big which 800 acres is. The campus is situated in out of the Ranchi. There are different buildings for each department.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in BIT Mesra is very good. There are different things in the institute to explore and get. The institute can bring some scholarship plans for the students.

    Actually I was a JEE aspirant and got this institute through CSAB counseling. Initially I was reluctant to take admission here as I didn’t know much about the institute.   • All You Need to Know About BIT
     

    Overall Rating
    I got a decent rank of 27000 in the JEE mains, 2023. I was hoping to get ECE in PEC Chandigarh, but in the last round of CSAB I couldn't get it. My next choice was BIT Mesra. I could have got AIML but during counseling I had no idea about this branch, so I had chosen ECE. Apart from this the college, infrastructure and campus are very beautiful and good.     This institute’s environment is very good. All my friends here are good too. The people of Jharkhand are also very helpful. The institute is situated in a peaceful environment.   • Satisfactory Experience at BIT Mesra
     

    Overall Rating
    I am from Ranchi, so considering my rank and all other factors; it was the best available choice for me to choose BIT Mesra. My session started in September 2023, initially in 1st month we have to go for SIP (student induction program) every day after first half classes where we get information regarding various clubs, college placements, academics, and various things.
