Campus life at Kalindi College, New Delhi

Overall Rating
My first years’ experience was a roller coaster but then eventually things are getting better.
 

Academics Rating
B.A program is offered with a combination of 2 subjects unlike B.A Hons. The eligibility requirements are that you must clear the CUET UG exam after passing 12th and then the process of filling preferences of different colleges’ starts; and then several lists of Delhi University are issued. Then, finally you get to know about which college you have got the admission. After that, there are two options – ‘freeze’ which mean you have accepted that college and ‘upgrade’ which means you want another college that are above your selected college.
 

Faculty Rating
I would frankly say that during initial days, the faculty was not so good but now after concerning the authorities, classes are held regularly.
 

Placement Rating
No, my college does not have a Placement Cell.
 

Hostel Rating
No, it is under construction for North-East students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 blocks in my college with ample of green areas, but the condition of college or infrastructure is not that good. There are various sports facilities and there is a gym for fitness and there are 2 grounds that are spacious and are covered with plants that provide fresh air to the students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good, but the infrastructure and facilities are not up to the mark. They celebrate fests and various functions on a regular basis. Different departments celebrate their fests on various intervals which are average.

I found many difficulties with my studies because I got late admission and when I told this to my teacher, she said she did not know how I would do.     Now, you are probably in search of making the best preference list to get into a good college of Delhi University. You search up for Kalindi and you see an article titled as "Kalindi; hidden gem of North Campus" and you put it on the 9th preference and you get to know that Kalindi is off campus. Though it is in North jurisdiction and is usually mentioned as North on some sites but it isn't actually. The college also encourages students to participate in societies, giving them a chance to grow beyond academics. It encourages both learning and personal development of students.     Kalindi College is really one of the best colleges in Delhi for women. I personally love my college because of its safe surroundings and it being really close to my house really eased my travelling problem. It is located in a residential area and have lively surroundings. It is also animal friendly as I have seen many cats in the campus who loves the pet. It gives the same vibe as that of school.     I'm currently studying in Kalindi College. I always wanted to take admission in DU college, when I got the chance to take admission in this institute I was very sure about my thoughts to take admission in this university. I was a little unsure about the college, but my experience was not that bad. It was not the best but when I speak about overall it did provide me an amazing college life.
