Life at VIIT, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute experience is really good and each and every day is memorable. The infrastructure is well maintained, and canteen is also available serving a wide range of snacks and meals. Modern teaching tools are used for delivering lectures in the classrooms. Weekly Exams are conducted, and those exams are also strictly monitored by the faculty members. Coming to the fests, it will be one of the best moments of Engineering life.
 

Academics Rating
I have completed my Graduation in B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I have entered this course by qualifying the Entrance Test i.e. AP EAMCET. Through counseling process, I got admission in the institute. My motive behind enrolling in ECE Department was the core subject’s scope in the future which is related to the Electronics, VLSI, and Embedded Systems.
 

Faculty Rating
In our ECE department, most of the faculties hold Doctorates and few are M. Tech qualified. All faculties have a good experience and knowledge in the subject they deal with. All faculties are very supportive to all the students. They guide and encourage students in their own interests. Doubt clarification is done during free time and also in the class.
 

Placement Rating
We have Placement Cell in our institute which is open for all the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the institute is very good. We have two Academic Blocks wherein one block is for the 1st year students, and another is for remaining years’ students. Laboratories are well equipped with good faculty supervisors. A Library with books related to all the subjects of various branches which is helpful to gain knowledge. Sports ground is spread in a wide area with many sports facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Fests are conducted regularly. Mostly every month cultural activities are organised. In January, one of the biggest fests is organised which is celebrated for 2 days and most of the institutes participates in it. Night Fest is also conducted for those two days up to 9:00 pm. Another big fest named Vista is organised in September which is dedicated to all the Engineers.

    Among almost all the colleges in Vizag, I found this college with the highest placement percentages for B.Tech students. With the highest package being ₹33 LPA and having almost 100% placements. I chose this particular institute for posting my B.Tech.     First of all, I must say that I am very happy to join this college. As a student of the Mechanical Branch I feel that this is the best college for our branch. Compared to other colleges our college provides better placements for our branch. My overall experience in the college is filled with unlimited fun and joy with a proper education. This is a co-ed institution were one can very actively participate in many programs and can develop leadership qualities, thus, I preferred joining this institution.
