A detailed review on SAIMS, Indore

Overall Rating
I'm currently a 2nd year MBBS student at SAIMS, Indore. My overall experience at SAIMS till now is good. What made me choose this Institute was that this institute is situated in a very good location in Indore and has all the requisite facilities.
 

Academics Rating
Students get entry into medical institutes by qualifying entrance exam which is NEET. After qualifying NEET or clearing the particular institute’s cutoff, students have to apply for counseling which is done online. Eligibility criteria for admission in medical institute is that student must have cleared the cutoff of that particular institute and passed 12th board with minimum 50% in each subject.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of our institute are very supportive and hard working. Currently I am in 2nd year and the Pathology and Pharmacology faculties are very good. In the first year also the Anatomy and Physiology faculties are the best, especially DR. Manjunath Motagi Sir (HOD of Anatomy).
 

Hostel Rating
I'm currently living in a Hostel of SAIMS which is situated in SAIMS campus itself behind the hospital, and one thing I personally feel is that hostel life in here is the best as the entire batch mates are living in the same floor.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Most advantageous thing is that the Hospital Building of SAIMS is connected with the Institute Building and hence students receive exposure of getting to know the patients. Other courses’ buildings are also present in SAIMS campus for BDS, BPT and Law institutes. SAIMS campus have a well-maintained garden which is the main attraction of SAIMS campus and also well-maintained library and reading hall for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at SAIMS is good as campus is situated in a very large area. Each year, a fest is organized named Harmony in between March to April. In SAIMS, there is a continuous interaction with students of other medical courses, as other medical courses buildings also present in same campus.

    Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Science is an overall good college. It has almost all the facilities that a college should have.
