ABES Engineering College B.Tech Review By Akash Kumar Singh

I chose this college over any other because of its good placement. There are nearly 80% placements in our college and 100% placements in branches like CSE. Overall placements, faculty and infrastructure inspired me for taking admission in this college. I had many choices, but ABES was greatest among all of them.

For enrolling in ABES there are two ways, first is from counseling; if you score >75 percentile in JEE and you are from home state you can expect admission in CSE related branches. The second way to get admission is direct admissions in which you need a sum of 170 from your JEE and PCM marks. For example, my JEE percentile was 82 and PCM percentage was 88.3%; so by adding both it crosses 170. If your sum is less than 170 you can expect ECE and ELCE branch.

I like the faculties the most in my college. They are well experienced in their domain and teach really very well. Any student can approach them for any kind of doubt related to study or any other topic. Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D and most of them are from NITs and IITs.

Yes, our college has a robust Placement Cell. College placements are truly amazing; nearly 80% were placed in 2023 from our college in companies like Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. The highest package stood at Rs. 54 LPA and average was Rs. 6 LPA and the minimum was Rs. 3 LPA.

Yes, our college provides residential facilities to the students. I have opted for four-seater room which costed me around Rs. 1, 20,000. The room is big enough for four students. All basic facilities like bed, chair, table, almirah are available for students. You can play badminton, basketball, tennis, etc. in the hostel ground. Each floor has water coolers installed. College also provides laundry facilities to the students. Mess food is average and hygienic; and only vegetarian food is served in the mess.

Our campus is not that big, but it is well maintained; you can see greenery everywhere. There is a beautiful temple in our college. College campus has a good environment. Campus is secured with CCTV; and no one is allowed to enter the college without ID cards. Overall, I would rate 9/10 to the campus’ infrastructure.

Every year an Annual Fest named Genereo is organised in our college. College life is little hectic, you have to maintain 75% attendance without it you can’t give semester exams. Crowd is average and most students are from home state. There are many clubs like dance, music, eco, etc. in the college. College also provides best sports facilities to its students.
