My views on IIITDM, Jabalpur

Overall Rating
The institute offers a variety of courses and has good placements which make it one of India's prestigious institutes. It has good clubs like Cultural Club, Technical Club and Sports Club in which students can participate and enjoy their institute life by gaining knowledge. The seniors are helpful, and it is an anti-ragging campus.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are very well designed for the students to learn in an efficient way. The institute also provides lab sessions and tutorial sessions for the students to clear their doubts and there are teaching assistants for helping the students. Students need to give tests regularly as there is continuous evaluation process.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very experienced. They are very friendly and help us to learn by clearing all our doubts. They conduct lab sessions to help us gain practical knowledge. Most of the senior faculty are here from the starting of the institute and know how to teach latest technologies to the students for extra knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell of our institute helps us to get placed in various companies in India and abroad. They work very hard to get the students placed and the average placement package is around Rs. 20-25 LPA so far with highest package crossing Rs. 1 Crore.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are good. Hostellers are provided with water, electricity and internet connection 24x7. Each hostel has a canteen that is open till 12:0 a.m. providing necessary food items for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute’s infrastructure is well designed with a Main Block for conducting classes, a separate Computer Centre for conducting lab sessions and seminars, an Administrative Block for all the main administrative related work. Faculty members can stay in the buildings provided by the institute with their families and hostels are provided for boys and girls separately.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best part of the institute. It has many canteens throughout the campus for students to enjoy their desired food. It consists of a general store for purchasing all general-purpose items, stationery and a fruits stall also. Various clubs enable students to be active in their free time in which students can participate.

  • My personal opinion about IIITDMJ
     

    Overall Rating
    IIITDM Jabalpur was really a good experience. I enjoyed a lot and gained a good amount of knowledge from the institute. The college life is good here. The main thing I love in the college is interaction between the seniors and juniors. The culture of the college impressed me. I choose this college because of three reasons. One is my JEE MAINS rank and other is the average package and median package, and the last one is the faculty due to their qualification from well known institutes.... Read Full Review

    Well if you go by placements then this institute has better placements than most other NITs which you would get at the same rank. After spending a year I can say it has a very good environment for both your personality development and overall growth. You will have good junior and senior bond and can ask for any help from your seniors. The college life is good and satisfactory; you would enjoy the festivals a lot.   • I'm happy with my experience at IIITDMJ

    I am a 1st year student at IIITDMJ. I am overall very happy with my experience at the college. The campus is good and spacious. The hostels are pretty good compared to other colleges. The mess food is average. We only have vegetarian food in the mess, but from April 2024, non-veg will also be served in the mess. The faculty that have taught me so far, have been good.
