My Experience in Krishna University, College of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
The university has no strict rules for students. To pursue our goals, we have to do self study and faculty is better. Sufficient amount of resources are provided by the institution for study and extracurricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
There are two streams (for B.Tech) available in our university which are Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ECE). For admissions in Engineering, we have to qualify AP EAPCET with minimum rank. Diploma students need to qualify AP ECET to get lateral entry. State government certificate is given big importance.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the university is a mixed bag with amalgamation of both good and bad. Their minimum qualification is M.Tech. The way they teach is quite good. The faculty will help us in our studies if it feels that student is really interested for competitive exams, researches, etc. They provide study material for subjects. Every lecturer tries to complete the syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of the university is trying to improve its services and working.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are not located near the university, they are in Machilipatnam and the facilities are average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is very vast and beautiful. There are two blocks: one is administrative block in which classes of B.Tech and B.Pharm also take place and another one is PG block where departments like chemistry, MBA, MCA, Biotechnology, Literature, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc. take place. There is central library with number of books, seminar hall, auditorium, net centre, medical center and canteen are in PG block. Another library and indoor stadium are located in administrative block. There is a playground for volleyball and cricket.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life in Krishna University is better. Every year, the university organizes youth festival where more than hundred of students participate in competitions like Singing and Dancing (Folk And Western), Dramas In Cultural Events, Essay Writing, Drawing, Clay Art, Rangoli, etc. Many prizes and awards are given to the winners of these competitions.
