After not getting a good branch at NIT, I thought MBM will be better option rather than other colleges. MBM University is renowned for its alumni network. This college was established in 1951 so it has approx. 6,000+ alumni. It is top Government Engineering College in Rajasthan under REAP (Counseling process for Rajasthan).

As it is a Government college so, if you study you will pass, if you don’t it you won’t pass either. MBM is known for its ATKT culture (fail in a subject). The teachers are quit helpful and it has 14 branches. One of the branch, Mining has 100% placement. After enrolling in MBM I know that MBM isn't like another college in which you can pass in 1 night. You have to do continuous study and make practical file.

In MBM the teachers are quite supportive. They are highly qualified (Ph.D, M.Tech). The proffers do their work honestly rest is on the student how much he catches. Some proffers are full of humor. They teach students in a manner that student can understand every concept. The students must have equal amount of energy and dedication.

Yes, the college has a TPO (training and placement office) in academic year 24’. About 400 students are eligible for placement from which 370 are placed. The college placement varies from 3.5 to 20 LPA. The college doesn't allow company lower than 3.5 LPA to be part of college placement. Last year the highest package was from Production and industrial engineering: 20 LPA and from mechanical it was 16 LPA. The TPO inspires students to get a good job and also participate in other online competitions like coding for CS, IT, AI branch. Before some days a meet for first student was conducted. The topic was: What mistake you shouldn't do to get good placement.

I am hosteller at MBM University. At first there were triple sharing rooms, in 2nd and 3rd twin sharing rooms and in 4th year single rooms were allotted. The rooms are equipped with beds, table, chair and wardrobe. Since you know its infrastructure is 70 yr old so the building is very old and in jodhpur the University and hostel are made of red stones.

The infrastructure isn't up to the mark. The University needs renovation. College campus is spread in 98 acres which is huge. Most of it is covered by trees and grass.

One best thing that I like is that there are many clubs from robotics and GDSC to pratibimb (theatre club, pratibimb, Zenith (dance), Sargam (music), ICC, Automobile, etc. The college organises fest like ENCARTA and ANANT one is tech and another is cultural. Some seniors organise fresher party which is non official. Overall college will give every best thing which is possible. Hence the campus size is huge you have to travel more than 6KM in a day if you are a hosteller.
