My experience at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi

Overall Rating
Overall, I’ll rate 10 out of 10 to my university. Every aspect and facility such as sports, academics, cultural activities, etc. of the University is perfect. Our teaching staff is really good.
 

Academics Rating
Academically, the system is totally perfect. I am pursuing BBA, and I have experienced no problem in my education since all the concepts taught by the teachers are very clear. They are always ready to do something valuable for the students. There are a total of 6 semesters in our course which including Communication, Mathematics and Computational Thinking that make a total of 180 credits, which is even more than the Commerce field. All the credits are divided accordingly per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties of the University are amazing. The faculties of Commerce, Arts, Paramedical, Science, and Engineering are really very helpful and caring. They are always ready to help the students in every aspect not only studies but also financially and individually. They treat the students of other faculty like they are their own students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a good placement facility available in our university. Every year many big companies like Wipro, Tata, Mahindra, etc. visits our university for providing placement and job opportunities to the students. Many MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, etc. have also visited JMI to offer jobs to the exceptionally performing students.
 

Hostel Rating
I’ll give a 6/10 because the hostel and accommodation facility is average. We get a decent room within our university and a decent meal during our stay. I would say that it is satisfactory according to the amount they take from us.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I can say that the infrastructure is above good. There are a lot of new buildings, and a lot of advanced machineries and technologies used for Engineering and BDS students. We have many canteens within the campus. We have a gym within the university for students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is best over here. The environment, the crowd is astonishing and absolutely brilliant and amazing. Whenever we are in the campus premises, we get a sense of discipline and safety in the environment. We always get to learn important and knowledgeable things from the studnts and staff here.

    Overall Rating
    One of the major factor for which I choose Jamia milia islamiya is its fees and its nirf ranking which is 26th in terms of engineering Also one of the major reason to join Jamia Millia Islamia was its campus is in Delhi where I get quite good exposure. My JEE Main percentile was 97 and I get computer science in Jamia Millia Islamia. The ROI which you get here is also very impressive.... Read Full Review

    Jamia is one of the finest Institutes of India. It has been providing quality education for more than 100 years. My experience with Jamia was excellent. I love the culture here.     Overall Rating
    Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the finest and most reputed Institutes in India. Its NIRF rank is 3 that made it an obvious choice for students. I had spent a year at Jamia, and I can assure you that there is no other college like Jamia. It is culturally rich and open to everyone. There are some cons though like no big flashy fests, lack of adequate hostels, old buildings but I like them. But these cons are nothing in comparison to what it offers.... Read Full Review

    My overall experience is 10/10. Jamia University is not only a place to learn but a major part of the students’ growth. One should definitely be a part of this institute to outgrow themselves and get molded into a better version of them.
