Overall Rating
I found this college through CSAB NEUT counseling and got allotted a seat in Electrical Engineering. I chose this college because firstly this is a government college and secondly the fee structure for J&K and other state student is different. As this college is an autonomous, it provides various opportunities with good placements and internships.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA. In B.Tech, there are five branches including IT, ENTC, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil. For admission, you have to clear MHTCT exam, then take part in CET counseling or if you are eligible for CSAB NEUT also you can take admission from that. If you have completed your Diploma, then you take admission in direct second year.
 

Faculty Rating
The college provide a good teacher-student faculty ratio. The teachers are very helpful and always motivates for the career. There are experienced professors with a good knowledge who can help you to develop you skill and work on that.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college have placement cell. It helps students to get placed with good package.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel provides a medium size room that can be shared among three people. It also provides each student with separate bed, chair, table, and cupboard. High speed Wi-Fi is accessible for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a digital library with a reading room. Students can get access to various academic and referral books through library card. The college is going to open new innovation labs for the students where the students going to learn basic ideas about startups and various mini projects.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, GCEK offers good campus life to the students. New Innovation Lab will also be opened to support the students in their start-up and innovative journey.
