VJTI is no less than a treasure hunt.

Overall Rating
Expectations are always high when you accept top ranked CET rankers. I was in top 1,000 and had plenty of choices. However, since I am from Ghatkopar, Somaiya Vidya Vihar and VJTI were the 2 best possible choices for me. The former charges a bomb while at VJTI l. I pay just 85,000 a year. Yes, facility wise we are far behind them but on placements front we have our noses ahead.
 

Academics Rating
The best part about academics is that they are not marks oriented. The academics here means that focus should always be in learning as in our world. Industries like Schneider Electric and Oracle have set up their own laboratories. Ratio between theory classes and labs are at 60-40 which is way too high. The academics here focus more on practical.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here can be easily divided into two, the one on contract basis and the other that are permanent faculties. This is indeed a little drawback as some contracted faculties are good but some are average. Having said that, the permanent facilities here are just too good to be true. Their motive is to make us understand what we have read.
 

Placement Rating
Schneider Electric and others are top companies that recruit students of our department. Firstly, the batch size here isn’t that heavy. So, placements become easy. In the penultimate semester placements starts and before we even get into our final semester, most of them have one common discussion, role and company you are placed at.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not eligible as only outsiders can avail the hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure may be 7 or at max 8 on 10 as It is a government aided Institution. Some top class laboratories have been built after COVID and they are as good as any other laboratories. The Classrooms are fully air conditioned. Sports facilities are also good and even though we already have our own ground, the Institute is in talks of having another.
 

Campus Rating
Life here is again too good but too hectic. The best part is we have two cultural fests, one that showcases local Marathi culture and Pratibimba which is a four day national cultural event. Apart from that we have a sports fest called Enthusiasm and tech fest called Technovanza. We also offer space fests where ISRO scientists were invited. Apart from that academics are excellent here. The students get to learn a lot more and even get opportunity to express themselves in whichever field they want.

    VJTI is a great State Engineering institute in Maharashtra. It has 16 acres of campus located in the heart of Mumbai, in Matunga. The factors which made me choose this institute was a suggestion given by seniors. The placement here at VJTI is above par and the peer group is also good.     As a JEE aspirant myself, I was unaware of VJTI as it is considered to have an underrated status. I only came to know about it after the first JEE attempt in January, when I started the preparation for CET.     Hello, I am Ganesh currently pursuing my bachelor's of technology in electronics branch. As everyone knows VJTI is famous for their placements, fests and highly educated faculty. VJTI is also some of the top colleges in Maharashtra with a great culture.   • Best Utilities in VJTI
     

    Overall Rating
    VJTI is the best college that you can get through MHTCET. In some aspects, it competes with top national institutes and sometimes overshadows them. The fee is also very affordable since it is a government college. The placements are fantastic. If you ignore the infrastructure, it is a great college. The clubs and committee's will keep you occupied. Since the competition is very high in JEE, VJTI is a great option for Engineering and it is the state government college in Maharashtra....
