Prestigious College: Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

Overall Rating
I chose this college because of its reputation and what I heard about it. It is a very prestigious college and the students who want to apply for LSR and get into it must study really hard. I would say, it is not an easy task to get into LSR and at first when I got to know this, it was all worth it.
 

Academics Rating
LSR is one of the top colleges of DU. Entry requirements are really high as per rank needed in CUET. You must get 750+ marks to get into LSR. Eligibility is obviously you have to give CUET and score well. My motive for enrolling in this program was clear from the beginning but I would have preferred north campus college like Miranda rather than LSR. LSR was my second preference so obviously I got LSR rather than Miranda.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is both good and bad. I would say that some of them are really sweet and experienced and others are average. I personally don’t feel the teachers are really nice except a few. Some of the teachers are still pursuing there PhD and other studies.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell. LSR is one of the colleges with highest placement. Last year the highest package was 42 LPA which is really good and overall the placements are fine. The placement cell does a really good job.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have a hostel but this year it is under renovation so the hostel facility is not available. I don’t know much about the hostel facilities either but I have heard it’s quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of LSR is too good. Campus is a really nice place for students to study and focus. The greenery is spread all across the campus, the back lawn and front lawn all covered in lush green trees. The lotus pond also gives a mesmerizing view. As far as buildings are considered the new building is quite nice and the old ones are average. The building is good, rooms are compact and ventilation is average. Other than that the infrastructure is nice.
 

Campus Rating
Crowd at LSR is nice. It gives exposure to all the students from various states and cities. Everybody works together and is really supportive. The annual fest TARANG is the best part about LSR. The societies are very active and talented. So the overall campus life is nice.

    LSR is one of the most sought after institutions in Liberal Arts in India and it is not hard to understand why. Apart from the top notch academics, you get diverse cohort students from all parts of the country that are passionate and career driven. There is a very lively society culture and events are happening almost daily.     Lady Shri Ram College for Women is the one of the coziest yet bustling place one can find in Delhi University. Being a student here makes me realize how much commitment towards work and academics people can have.     Not going to lie, LSR was not my first choice as I wanted to study in a Co-Ed college. Although after coming here, my opinion started to change. Everyone in this college including students, faculty and the staff will make you feel like home. Here no one judges you for what you've done or what you haven't, giving you fresh start.
