Honest Review on I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University

Overall Rating
I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University is indeed very affordable and cheap, according to the location and area. It is quite good as compared to other universities. If you talk about the university’s campus life, students can easily interact with other students and seniors. Faculty members are also very nice. So overall, it is very good university.
 

Academics Rating
This course was very affordable as compared to other courses. To be eligible for this course, you need to get good marks in JEE entrance exam and 12th board examinations. You can even get scholarships based on your JEE score and 12th board results. If you want to continue your scholarships, you need to score good in your semester exams (CGPA above 8).
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite helpful and friendly as well. Most of the faculty members would help you even if they are busy with their own work. Faculty members, here are highly qualified. Most of them are PhD holders. The teaching style here is very practical. They even help you with projects.
 

Placement Rating
Placements do happen in on and off campus. The highest package offered on-campus was 17 LPA this year and minimum was 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university has hostel facilities for the students. The hostel is quite affordable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University campus is quite compact, but the infrastructure here is really good. There are AC labs and classrooms which are also fully centralized AC. Cafeteria and canteen are also available in the campus. Other amenities include washrooms and water taps in each floor specifically. Overall, it’s a good campus. You can often play with your friends in the university field.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is pretty average as compared to any other university. You get to interact with all your seniors and juniors, especially with faculty members. Being in compact size, it is very less chaotic as compared to other universities. It also conducts events and other fun activities.

    This University is very affordable and a state government University. This was my main reason to select this University. Moreover, faculty members are very helpful and interactive with all the students. Clubs are also active in this University making your extracurricular experience really good. Library is also good....
