My Views over Veterinary College, Bangalore

Overall Rating
Veterinary course is to become a vet who treats animals including livestock and other animals. My Institute is top among Indian veterinary colleges and ranked 1 in Karnataka. Compared to other colleges, accommodation facilities are easily accessible. We can effortlessly get necessary requirements. Teaching staff is very good and oriented towards student friendly teaching. Campus is very good and has good environment also. Labs are very good and maintained very well. The hospital gets good amount of animals for experience.
 

Academics Rating
Duration of the course is 5 and half years. If entry is through CET, then general ranking should be 2000 below (varies for each category). If students are coming through NEET, ranking should be almost below 1 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very good and talented. The professors are very experienced with completion of PhD and research work. They are very hard working and try their best in case of both theory and practical sections. They show specimens of different type to make concept clear for students.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are based on your skills. After degree, you can have your own clinic or work under other clinics for experience. If you are interested, then can continue with the PG course.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has separate girl’s and boy’s hostels. Hostels are very good and spacious. Parking for vehicle is also available. Hot water is also available in each hostel. There is separate mess for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Mess fee can also be paid on the monthly basis. Separate hostel for NRI students is also available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college was built in 1960s but buildings are still very beautiful and strong. There are different department for various subjects. There is a hospital. For livestock, sheds are constructed and farm land is present.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good and enjoyable. Fests are also organized from time to time. Sports event and inter college competition is held every year. Annual talent show is conducted where students can showcase their talent in dance, song, drama, painting, etc.

    This is the most wonderful college for VET aspiring students. This college teaches to treat the voiceless patients. Special thing of enhancing the livestock and its production.     Very satisfied as the best college in Karnataka to pursue veterinary due to more patient load. Well built campus equipped with latest technology. Situated in metropolitan city makes us to add on skills for future.     Veterinary College Bangalore is one of the best colleges for pursuing the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSC & Ah).     Look this college is one of the best and oldest at providing top notch veterinary course. It was established in 1958, it comes under VCI for all India students and In state Karnataka. Its seats are filled by KCET exam. Quality of professor's is top notch, infrastructure is also good. I choose it because some relatives advised me to. I don't regret my decision now.
