Central University of Rajasthan B.Sc Review By Narottam Pandey

My experience in this university is far better than what I expected before joining this. There is no any particular issue that I have to worry about as the behavior of staff, faculties and seniors are very good and supportive in nature. The infrastructure and greenery of the campus is the most attractive part for an individual, that's the reason that I chose this university for my studies.

I am pursuing Integrated (B.Sc + M.Sc) course in Computer Science from this university and I got that through CUET UG entrance exam that is conducted on the yearly basis across the nation. The eligibility of the course is to at least Math as a compulsory subject in HSC. My motive of choosing this program is to get a placement in technical companies and have some deep knowledge of Computer Science.

The faculty members of the university are very good in nature. They are very intelligent too as all of them have come from very decent educational background some from IITs, NITs. There some professors who have also study from abroad. All of them have a deep knowledge of their particular streams and teach us the things a very accurate manner.

There is a placement cell in our university and some students get placed. However, the management can improve its services and bring some MNC’s in the placement drive.

The hostels of university are comparable to IITs and NITs. There are total 8 hostels in which 4 girls and 4 boys. The rooms in boy’s hostels have double sharing rooms and girl’s hostels have triple sharing rooms. The rooms of the hostels are very well maintained and cleaned. The balcony of each room provides a beautiful view of the campus. All the basic facilities have been provided like table, chair, fan, tube-light, lamplight, mattress, etc.

The infrastructure of the university is comparable to IITs. There is greenery across the whole campus. There are many canteens and shops for basic needs. The sports grounds like Cricket, Hockey, football, kho-kho, Basketball court, badminton court and volleyball court are also available in good condition. There is also a library and a study hall to study in a peaceful environment.

Campus life is very good here. All the students enjoy positive environment of the university. There are regular celebrations of festivals like Dussehra, Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, etc. There are also clubs in the university through which you can gain experience. However, students might face some difficulties as it located very far from the main cities.
