Yadava College B.A Review By Ramya Boominathan

I joined Yadava College in 2020. It was the time of pandemic which is why initially I had to pursue my course through online mode. I had a good experience in my college with my friends and staff members. Many skill developing cultural programs were conducted for students. Students who like to enjoy their college life with friends can join this college.

The course fee for Bachelor of Arts in English is comparatively lower than other colleges. I used to pay only tuition and book fees in every semester which was hardly around Rs. 20000 per year. The selection procedure is very simple as we have to clear the 12th standard board examinations with minimum 45% marks. My motive for enrolling in this program was to enhance my English skills and gain a good knowledge for same.

Faculty members have unique teaching method. For teaching, Books, blackboard, projectors were used by teaching staff. Many staffs were cleared their highly reputed universities of Arts. Assistant professors had good knowledge in their teaching subjects. Most of the faculty members were very interactive with students during my college days.

Yes, we have a placement cell in my institute which is very active during campus drive for helping final year students.

Yes, in my college there are hostels for both boys and girls separately. The food provided in college hostels was mostly South Indian which is tasty to eat. Proper hygiene of washrooms was maintained in the hostels.

The campus’s academic blocks are sturdy despite being old. In my college campus, there are many trees and benches to sit during break time. All the classrooms were also in good condition while being outfitted with basic amenities. It also has big playgrounds.

During my college days, we celebrated many fests like Annual day, Inter college competition, Sports day and Cultural day. In those days each student used to participate in programs and exhibit their special talent. My campus life is most memorable as we enjoyed so much during college tour each year.
