My Experience at IIIT Manipur.

Overall Rating
It is a decent Institute as Academic curriculum is very strong. It is in the heart of Imphal Valley with offering Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics and Communication courses. I am in my 3rd year and can say that this institute might be the best option. In further few years IIIT Manipur might set a benchmark for the entire north east.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are good here as there are 3 assessments in a semester along with end semester exams. The Faculties are Qualified. Environment for Placement as well as Gate for Government Exam is also very good. There are Minimum 75% attendance criteria in the college therefore you can't miss the classes on the regular basis.
 

Faculty Rating
IIIT Manipur has well qualified Faculties. Many of those have a PHD degree from IIT. The teaching Quality is very good with mix of theoretical as well as practical approaches. The lab classes are provided on a regular basis. Semester exams are quite challenging as it tests your theoretical practical knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, There is training and placement cell in the institute. The cell helps the students to get connected with the companies for internship amnd full time job opportunities. Currently for the 2024 batch there was 76% placement with a highest package of 40 LPA and Avgas package of around 9 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, College provides residential facilities in the institute. The hostel is around 200 Meter from the campus building. The hostel facilities are good which includes 24/7 water and electricity facilities also there is separate wardrobe, table and chair for each student. A room is shared by four students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College campus is Small but is good enough. The permanent campus is currently under construction which is 10-12 times this temporary campus. Academic block and classroom are good as these buildings is not that much old. There is also an auditorium inside the campus for the events and programmers. It also has a football ground in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is bit average but better than what you expect in Manipur. It is in heart of Imphal and near the airport so, all basic ammonites are easily available. The nature here is good so you will get positive vibe being here.

    My experience in the institute is very good. First of all the Indian Institute of Information Technology is situated in-between the hills in Imphal Valley under the beauty of mother nature. No pollution, fresh air, fresh water would give you internal peace instantly. All the professors are good and friendly, the medium of education is in English language and every vendor outside understands Hindi so there is no language barrier.     Our college, the Indian Institute of Information Technology is good. And it will be better in the upcoming years. The placements for the year 2023 were very nice.     I chose the IIIT because it provides good job opportunities in the private sector. The placements of this college are quite good and I will recommend everyone to join the IIIT.     My experience at the Indian Institute of Information Technology was very good. You can choose this college because it is a public private college and has national importance also. You will get good placements and a good environment there. Yes, the most important thing is the weather here and the culture of Manipur which is very nice.
