My Thoughts on IIIT Manipur

Overall Rating
I got this institute through CSAB counseling. I got CS branch with specialization in AI and Data Science. If you are a student whose is more dedicated in studies then you can choose this institute as activities like music are less organized here.
 

Academics Rating
Total 4 branches are available here: CS–AI & Data Science, CS, ECE-VLSI and ECE which you can choose according to JEE score. Due to recent clashes in Manipur, its cut off became very high but the campus and the residential areas are safe. Exams are conducted on monthly basis.
 

Faculty Rating
Here, the faculty is well qualified. Every teacher is very supportive and of friendly nature. Each students need to follow their advice in order to have great future.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average. Around 80 percent of the students got placed this year and the minimum criteria for sitting in placement is 6.5 CGPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good, but hostels for 1st year are quite far. You get a good speed Wi-Fi and mess food is also hygienic.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of IIIT Manipur was constructed in 2015, so its campus in Senapati is under construction which may become operational in few years. The institute is currently running in Mantripukhri, in total area of 13 acres but it is a very beautiful place.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average because the time table of the classes is quite tough. Everyday from 10 PM to 6 PM, you have classes or labs. Sometimes, there can be some free periods, in which you can play or study or can do whatever you like.

    My experience in the institute is very good. First of all the Indian Institute of Information Technology is situated in-between the hills in Imphal Valley under the beauty of mother nature. No pollution, fresh air, fresh water would give you internal peace instantly. All the professors are good and friendly, the medium of education is in English language and every vendor outside understands Hindi so there is no language barrier.   • My Experience at IIIT Manipur.

    It is a decent Institute as Academic curriculum is very strong. It is in the heart of Imphal Valley with offering Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics and Communication courses. I am in my 3rd year and can say that this institute might be the best option. In further few years IIIT Manipur might set a benchmark for the entire north east.... Read Full Review

    Our college, the Indian Institute of Information Technology is good. And it will be better in the upcoming years. The placements for the year 2023 were very nice.     I chose the IIIT because it provides good job opportunities in the private sector. The placements of this college are quite good and I will recommend everyone to join the IIIT.     My experience at the Indian Institute of Information Technology was very good. You can choose this college because it is a public private college and has national importance also. You will get good placements and a good environment there. Yes, the most important thing is the weather here and the culture of Manipur which is very nice.
