Concise Review on Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University

Overall Rating
The university infrastructure is good. It is far from the city which is good for the people like me who love peace and stay away from the city. The faculties of the university are supportive and they all have the good qualification. The course plan is also good for a starter, who had no knowledge about the IT sector.
 

Academics Rating
The course fee is Rs. 30 thousand per semester and there are 6 semesters. You need marks above 60% in class 12th to get admission here. The BCA course gives us knowledge of all the fundamentals of IT sector jobs. In this course, you will learn about the basics web development, Software Design, python, Java, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The facility is qualified and has at least 5 years of teaching experience. There are two to three teachers for each subject. The teaching methods of the teachers are very good, and every student can understand what they are teaching. They are good in problems solving, advanced coding skills, etc.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our university. They offer wide range of placements for every course. In last year of your course, the companies will come for the recruitment of students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our university has the hostel facilities for the students who want to stay in hostel. I think the fee of the hostel is approximately Rs. 120000 per year. The hostels have all the facilities like laundry, cleaning, gym, free Wi-Fi, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is spread in a very wide area. They have the different buildings for the different blocks in the university. They have canteen for students, they have a cricket field, volleyball field, and basketball field, etc. the university have a small garden to sit while in a free lectures.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life is good. The students are friendly. The crowd in university is huge. There are the different clubs to join as per your interest like the singing club and the dancing club.
The university organizes the ‘Pinak’ as main fest where it invites celebrities and famous personalities for our entertainment.

    Dev bhoomi was started in 2005 with few students and now has approx 8,000 students. Earlier I was preparing for NEET but I couldn’t make it so I have to choose something related to biology.     The University is located in an area close to the nature in Dehradun. The atmosphere and environment is really good, it is far from the city noise. My overall experience was really good. There are shops for stationary goods and daily needs for hostel students. They also have a canteen and some fast food outlets as well. A café for morning coffee is also present in the campus....     My overall experience about this college is very outstanding. Also, here faculty and professor is well experienced, they also provide technical knowledge about our core subjects.
