Very satisfied as the best college in Karnataka to pursue veterinary due to more patient load. Well built campus equipped with latest technology. Situated in metropolitan city makes us to add on skills for future. One should go for this course if he/she is interested in veterinary at first and one can also gain more knowledge about small animals.

Course extends 5.5 years including 1 year entrepreneurship during which you will be asked to work in different veterinary colleges of Karnataka. For entry through state quota one has to appear for KCET examination including Biology and gets a descent rank and for other states one can appear in NET and get into the college through VCI (Veterinary Council of India) through appearing in NEET.

Faculty is well versed with their subject knowledge. Teaching involves both practicals and theoretical. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D holders. Professors and each department have got associate professors also to look after all the aspects. They have also studied in reputed veterinary colleges and have published various research papers in their field of expertise.

Placements usually start during the internship programme to various sectors like dairy , pharmacology, fodder production , vet clinics.
One also has an scope to become a veterinary officer under government of karnataka.

The residential facilities are provided for both boys and girls within the college named Kamadhenu and Kalpavruksha hostel respectively. Boy’s hostel has got an indoor gym opposite to the hostel and has got wide area for parking the vehicles. Hostel food is healthy and is affordable with clean and tidy rooms.

Most of the academic blocks are situated in a single place equipped with smart boards and has also got Karnataka Veterinary Council, Kannada Sabhangana for cultural programs and has football, basketball and indoor stadium for sports. Other structures like veterinary hospital have defined area for medicine, surgery, and gynecology and outpatient department.

College life is very good due to cultural fests like youth festivals are conducted every year, apart from that egg day, rabies day and the ongoing sessions related to animal husbandry provide a rejuvenating experience. Has got a green campus, less crowded, peaceful campus and lot of area to roam around.
