The Overall Review of my experience at MCC

Overall Rating
Madras Christian College is a reputed college with a good NIRF Ranking. It has a very good environment but the infrastructure is quite vintage. MCC has MRF Innovation Park and is active in participating in various events across Chennai. Talking about BBA, the course structure, curriculum and syllabus are really good.
 

Academics Rating
BBA at Madras Christian College required more than 95% in class 12th (if you are from General). BBA is one of the flagship departments of MCC next to B.Com. The course structure, curriculum and syllabus are structured very well based on the contemporary perspective of management.
 

Faculty Rating
There are almost 12 faculties in Department of Business Administration at Madras Christian College. They can improve their teaching style so that students can understand more easily.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell at Madras Christian College is doing really well. Packages can go up to 14 LPA. Though most of the firm at startups, we can expect few MNCs like TCS, Ernst and young, Barclays, Deloitte, Accenture, BNY Melon, Verizon, NatWest, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 6 Halls at MCC. 3 for girls and 3 for boys. These halls are filled with lot of events and programs unlike a normal college hostel. Students actively participate in various hall events, competitions and programs. They compete with other halls and the events are filled with hall spirit.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Madras Christian College is quite old. MCC is a 187 year old college found in 1837 and most of the buildings at MCC are built by Scottish people or the founders of MCC. The college is just opposite to the railway station and bus stand. Basically a 1 minute walks. Connectivity is super good and has a peaceful environment with various flora and fauna. Its 450 acres widespread lush green densely planted campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life at MCC is the best. There are infinite events, programs, flashmob and competitions happening every now and then. Basically classrooms are thrown into an exhibition center with a lot of fun. Almost 8000 students studying here and there are two shifts. It's always crowded and tremendous.

    Madras Christian College is astounding and surrounded by nature. The campus area is very pleasant and city is accessible with multiple transportation system. The airport is just 8 KMs away.   • Life at MCC
     

    Overall Rating
    MCC stands at the 6th position in India for Bachelor of Business Administration. That's why I chose MCC and also MCC started the first open college cultural in Asia called Deepwoods. MCC also has several clubs for students to explore and excel in different fields. MCC also provides scholarship for specific group of students and students with single parent.   • Madras Christian College was good in some ways but equally bad in many ways

    There is no exam for the entrance of UG course in MCC. In MCC, you can go only on behalf of the percentage that you have scored in 12th grade. Madras Christian College is the most popular private college in Chennai and because of this; it has tied up with many top companies. Tambaram Railway Station was the closest to MCC.   • I dreamt of studying at MCC right from the word go

    I smell nature right from the first step I used to take at MCC daily morning. Trust me that smell is haunting me even today as MCC was addictive. To make things easier for students who wish to join MCC, I will start from the scratch that how it all started at MCC. The college’s first day will start at Anderson Hall and the principal will welcome all the new students with a speech.   • MCC will develop you overall
     

    Overall Rating
    If your whole aim is to develop academically, then MCC is not the one for you. In other words, MCC will build your personality overall. The college is adamant about having many co-curricular activities as they give their students maximum chance to showcase all their talent. The college has a large crowd, and once you perform for them, you will get confidence automatically.
