My genuine opinion on Maharishi Markandeshwar University Mullana, Ambala

Overall Rating
My experience at the university is quite good. I chose this university because of its placement ratio which was about 93%. But the reality is something else, it provides only around 30-40% placement. I'll recommend this university to only those students who have a tight budget. It has a nice infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science and Engineering which has the most demanding jobs at this time. The students need to score above 60% marks in 10th and 12th to enroll in this course. The CSE branch provides the fundamental knowledge about the utilization of software in any type of machinery.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are generally supportive. They guide us and clear our doubts related to the syllabus. Their teaching style is amazing but some of them are not so good. Each faculty members have to guide and teach almost 60-70 students.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are really good. It provides 24 hours free Wi-Fi connection. The mess food is also good. The hostel timings are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus’ Academic Block is quite large since it includes many departments in the same building i.e. Electrical, Electronic, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, etc. It has a very large campus area. It also has a library that is stocked with all kinds of book related to syllabus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is amazing since it also organises Universum every year. It also organise other events like hackathons, poster making, cricket, badminton, and other sports activities at the university level. There are many clubs like GDSC, Alpha Itern, and many more.
