My Journey in Cotton University

Overall Rating
Being a part of Cotton is a privilege for me. Although I chose this college because of easier transportation and of being famed as top colleges in Assam. It's really best feeling to be in a part of Cotton University.
 

Academics Rating
Cotton offers courses like BA (Bachelor of Arts) with 18 specializations, MA (Master of Arts) with 18 specializations, B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) M.Sc (Master of Science), Master of computer applications and Master of Laws. For B.Sc and BA, you must pass 10+2 with 70% above marks or from new agency called NTA that conducts CUET. For MA or M.Sc, you must graduate with 70% or better percentage. Same goes to MCA and LLM. The university has been providing best quality education with. Alumni of this university is the representative of this college.
 

Faculty Rating
This college has diverse range of faculty members in B.Sc. The university has an experienced faculty that have 50+ years of experience. We have JD ma'am and Manju ma'am from Botany department, AK sir from Chemistry department and Dr. Debojit Sharma from Physics. These professors are well experienced and make you adapt to the environment of education. Their teachings are easily understandable because they use multiple languages to explain and can have a personal mentoring sessions.
 

Placement Rating
I am not sure about the placements at Cotton University.
 

Hostel Rating
There are total five girl’s hostel and five boy’s hostels. I don't know much about girl’s hostel but boy’s hostels can be little bit if you don't adapt quickly. Meals of hostels are very good (3 meals per day). All the hostels are close to university campus (Ujjain bazaar) with 24 hours security.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is larger in area having central library, 2 halls, academic building, canteen, gym, indoor court and outdoor field, student corner, and 10+ departments, small park where can spend time on break and on free classes. Cultural halls have AC and 200+ seats. The university campus has its own parking area.
 

Campus Rating
Cotton fests are literally best as compared to the fests of other colleges in Guwahati. The audience spirit and energy is really a chill whenever a fest is held. Every year, the university invites some surprise random guest that you won't regret to miss. Sometimes we also organize events such as debates, dance competition, etc. There are too many fun things that anyone would not want to miss those nostalgic memories that are about to give in this university
