KIIT School of Computer Engineering B.Tech Review By Arpit Kumar

I am student of KIIT and I have enrolled in B.Tech CSE. Till date my experience with Institute has been fine. I chose this Institute because it has a very reputed image across the globe. The facilities of the Institute are mind blowing as everything is available. The chemistry lab of our college has all the chemicals and facilities including Air conditioner. The workshop lab has all the equipment and the faculty is specialised to train you in the correct manner. The hospital is also good. The hospital provides free treatment to KIIT students. The classes in the Institute are air conditioned and are clean.

To get admission in B.Tech CSE you must clear KIITEE entrance exam with good rank. You must secure minimum of 60% in PCM in 12th board examination. This course is actually modified as per the future industry demands. You will get ample of opportunities in sports, music, dance, coding and other activities. They also provide a laptop which is included in the admission fee. The laptop they have provided this year is not released in India yet. You will have no problem in coding and programming.

The faculty of our Institute helps us in all the possible ways. There are different organisations for different problems and they will help you out with anything in all possible ways. The teachers and exam organisers are good at their work. If you have any problem, you have to contact the respective organisation and they will help you out for sure.

The placements are decent in our Institute. It completely depends on your efforts. Whether you are learning the skills being taught to you and whether you are able to maintain a good CGPA. At the end, all of the factors matter but mostly if you maintain a decent CGPA you can grab a decent package from this Institute. You also get opportunities for internships, in the 3rd year. There is a specified department for placement training which will help you to achieve a good job and train you as per the demands of the industry.

Yes, there are a lot of hostels in our Institute. There are Non AC rooms, AC rooms as well as premium rooms as per the capability of the student. There are 3 bedded rooms and 2 bedded hostel rooms. All facilities such as mess, water tanks and washrooms are available so we don't have to worry for any other thing. Although the mess food is avaerage but rest is fine.

Infrastructure is one of the best things about the Institute. The buildings and architecture have been designed so well and all the facilities are available. There are different buildings for different branches and courses such as School of computer engineering, school of computer engineering, school of electrical engineering, school of applied sciences and many more.

There are more than 20 campuses in our Institute and every campus has all the facilities such as clean drinking water, cold, hot and normal water. There are food courts near every campus if you want to have some other food than mess. All campuses have an area or ground, where all the students can play different games such as swimming, table tennis, football, basketball, etc. Yes, there is a swimming pool too. You will never be disappointed with the campus life here.
