A review on the Placement and Education at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida

Overall Rating
Overall, the College is good but lacks placements for students. Even though ours is an Autonomous College, we can design our own syllabus; still, we have to suffer for good placement opportunities. Also, we are provided various skill-based training, but students end up looking for opportunities on their own.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are pretty good, and we are provided an annual subscription of Coursera, and we can complete 4 courses every year to up skill ourselves. We are provided workshops and trainings for various technologies like MERN stack and AI to compete with other colleges and we have a history of good education in college.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are talented and some even are from abroad in order to give us the best education as per the current trend. But they usually join the institute for a short period of time.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are not that good as students who have a 9 CGPA and those who have a 6 CGPA gets the same package offers.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is not so good, and the authorities should take the students’ requests for facilities into consideration.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good and we have two campuses. College has modern labs with good cleanliness around the college. Toilets are also clean and checked up regularly to provide good hygiene to the students. All labs are modern with the facilities to develop many applications.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is not so good.

    NIET is a top institute among the institutes under AKTU. It is autonomous that makes it different from other AKTU institutes. It has very updated curriculum.     My overall experience was average in my institute as currently I am in 2nd year and my first year was full of discipline and strictness. The institute doesn’t let you take a lot of leaves and when workshops are there you have to pay Rs.1000 for taking a leave.... Read Full Review

    As a student, I could say the institute is good in academics and I think it is best in academic in compare to the other institute in Greater Noida. If I talk about infrastructure, the campus size is compact. The professors here are very supportive. The exams are easy here as it is an autonomous institute.... Read Full Review

    The college is good because it has a very good placement record in previous years in B.Tech (computer science and engineering) and in all other branches.
