My overall experience at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology has been awesome till now. The infrastructure is top notch, great lectures are provided by the lecturers. Extracurricular activities like Techfest, and other fests and seasonal activities are also held from time to time like Biswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, Holi, etc. I chose this institute without giving much thought about it but choosing my decision didn't disappoint me at all. You can definitely consider enrolling in this institute if you wish to develop holistically.

I am a 3rd year is Civil Engineering student. I was a Diploma student and for getting admission on basis of the same, you have to clear JELET Entrance Exam for B.Tech Institutes. It's a 3-years course particularly. I got this institute with a cutoff of 61 (as a ST Category student). My motive behind enrolling for this program was to achieve my dream of becoming an all-rounder, Engineer.

Maximum of the faculty members are Ph.D holders so definitely they are good in whatever they teach. They are experienced, guide the students, and resolve their academic related queries. Practical classes are also held to demonstrate about certain topics regarding the subject. We understand the concepts in a more efficient way through the practical sessions conducted by our teachers regularly.

Yes, there is a Placement Cell in our institution. Many Multinational Companies visit our institute for recruiting the students. MNCs like Google, Amazon, Byjus, Wipro, Infotech, etc. are some of the hiring companies.

Yes, there is residential facility in our institute. I am not a resident of the hostel, so I don't know much regarding hostel life.

The infrastructure is top notch and modern. There are different buildings for various departments. There is a seminar hall, gym, and many labs for different purposes. The surrounding around the institute is great. The institute is surrounded by a locality but occupies enough space for itself. There is a big parking lot, 3 badminton courts, ground for other sports like cricket and football, cottage like resting space where the students can relax; also, there is a garden and a swimming pool. Overall, the infrastructure is great.

The institute's overall campus life is great. There isn't much crowd as everyone stays in their respective classes otherwise students just relax and enjoy outside under the trees, in a cottage-like resting place and especially during summer, students just stay in their classes with AC on. There are many clubs like Singing, Dancing, Photography and Adventure. There are many fests held like Technical Fest, and other fests organized by the institute for entertainment purposes. Popular singers or bands are invited to perform, and the energy is unmatchable. Other activities like sports are also organized both online and offline which includes online sports like BGMI, Free Fire, badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, etc. where the winner gets to take the prize money.
