All about NIT, Delhi.

Overall Rating
I personally give the college a rating of 3 out of 5. The main reason to select this college is because of the median packages and the NIRF ranking. Also Delhi city is a factor too. It provides good academics and infrastructure for computer science students. For other branches it still needs improvement.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently enrolled in artificial intelligence and Data science course which started last year only from 2023. Currently I am in 2nd year. Last year the cut off for this was 19k in JEE Mains for this branch in open category (CSAB). The candidate must secure minimum of 75% marks in their 12th class. Motive to join this course was that Artificial intelligence is a booming industry now and I believe it will be lead future of the technology.
 

Faculty Rating
Even though every faculty member is a Ph.D holders still the faculties are average. Most of the faculty members are new. The faculty teaching our branch are new to the college and most of them joined last year. Some faculties teach from the reference book whereas some teach Direct on board or use PPT slides.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, NIT Delhi has a placement cell and I think it is great at it. The placement statistics last year were very good as compared to market’s situation. The result was satisfactory having 18 LPA as median for CSE and 15 LPA for ECE.
 

Hostel Rating
For 1st year students the college provides an off campus hostel. The hostel is average. For 2nd and 3rd year students the college provides in house hostel that is better than the other and is also hygienic. Infrastructure in the campus hostel is top notch, with good sports equipment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is new so we have a top notch high standard infrastructure. Labs are very good for CSE and ECE. For mechanical and civil labs the college still needs to improvise. Buildings are new and it provides all the facilities. The college comprises of 2 buildings, admin and mini campus. Both are good.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is good as we are in the Delhi city. We can catch a bus and reach the city in 20 mins. Clubs are good and active all the time. Good fests are organised. We have 3 fests in a year that are fun to attend. Other activities are be going on all the time. College life is good.

    My overall experience at the institute is quite impressive. I chose NIT Delhi Artificial intelligence & Data Science branch as it is located in capital city due to which I can get the industry exposure very well. I think if others chose my institute they will be updated to latest technology or new companies as new companies probably come first to capital city of any country.... Read Full Review

    My experience in this college is good. I chose this college because of placements, infrastructure, and its academics. I would recommend you to join this college because, placements in this college was good in past few years. Infrastructure and lecture theaters are very good and comfortable for students.     I chose this Institute based on its placement, infrastructure and academics. In this Institute we have a better infrastructure and placement as compared to other campus.. Campus is located near Haryana. I have completed my first year successfully. In this campus we have advanced materials in labs, and we have different types of labs like robotics, CPS, AI and other for different branches like ECE, Civil, Mechanical, etc.... Read Full Review

    So this college is still growing and is under construction. The strength of every batch is not that much, so the teacher student interaction is quite good. In upcoming years NITD will surely be among top NITs, so you should definitely consider this college.... Read Full Review
