I studied Physics (Hons.). While the rigorous focus on theory classes and practical work may limit social interactions for those in science stream, students who enjoy attending festivals, programs and various events will find plenty to engage with. It's important to note that the college has strict attendance policies. Students are expected to adhere to set timings, which can pose challenges, especially in emergencies. Therefore, it's advisable to plan accordingly.

Academically, the faculty of our institution stands out for exceptional expertise and dedication. Nearly all professors hold or pursued a Doctorate degree, and in their respective fields, they showcase Mastery. The practical sessions were noteworthy and we could finish the entire practical at least a month before exams to have a window of one month if needed to practice practical. It is sort of difficult to score marks in Physics and difficult to get CIA Marks because whatever you do in exam will be the calculating factor needed to calculate your CIA Internal Grading.

Faculty of the college, from my department, since I can’t speak for the rest, was amazing. They all hold or pursued Doctorate degree in their respective field and taught every class they could. Faculties were also very dedicated to individual attention and helped at any moment you would ask them to.

Not a lot.

Physics' books are in the main Salesian College library except Mathematics' Library which is separate from the rest of the College. Physics Department had one of the best infrastructures for Practical along with the PE-Hysteresis Loop Equipment. Have Smart Boards for interactive teaching and green boards for the plain old better Physics teaching. The Campus features multiple cafeterias offering a range of food options, and there is ample parking space available for those who drive.

I had an average campus life. Classes in the morning, Lunch break, practical in the afternoon and then go home in the last after everyone had left, since Physics department had the longest time table and classes of all the departments in the College. Lunch breaks are lively, open and crowded. For students, the college provides excellent opportunities for socialization and building friendships. Overall, the college offers a balanced experience for those willing to engage both academically and socially.
