The overall experience till date is fairly good and the atmosphere here is full of diversity in different aspects. The university is built in a remote area therefore, there's no commotion, traffic, etc. and the open area provides true relaxation and peace of mind. I chose MUJ because I wanted my academics to be uncompromised, and MUJ is a suitable place for self-study. It's among the newer universities, and the Manipal group is focusing more on improving its quality of education and placements. It's a very good educational institute for pursuing Law as well. Anyone wishing for a good college experience while ensuring a good academic result and career can join MUJ. The campus is also amazing.

The course (B.Tech Hons.) is of 4 years, and it covers all the necessary concepts of Computer Science and Engineering, with the additional topics of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The first year's curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects in every field in order to provide a firm foundation for all the Engineering students. In the second year, more advanced course-specific subjects are introduced, which cover the internal workings of computer hardware and software, along with the basic principles of Artificial Intelligence. In the third year, the topics get more advanced, covering Software Architecture, Networking, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, etc. In the fourth year, the students are prepared for placements, and different companies come to the university during the Placement Drive. All through the course, emphasis is given on building your own projects so that the students understand the process of software development and management well in advance.

The faculty is generally average. Some of the faculty members are exceptionally knowledgeable and eager to teach, while some are decent. All of them have different yet impressive educational backgrounds and teaching experiences. Every classroom has a projector to enhance learning and teaching experiences, and the faculty makes proper use of these facilities. A lot of them teach in a good way, preparing their lessons in advance and making sure that majority of the students understand the lessons. Every section has around 60 students and the faculty makes sure every student is able to make the most out of the lessons.

There is a Placement Cell in MUJ, which is not so good but it gets the job done. It helps the students secure jobs, but some have to try outside the campus. The average package is satisfactory, but not extraordinary.

The University provides residential facilities in partnership with Good Host Spaces. The fee is high but the amenities provided are good. The mess is very good with a variety of food to cater the taste preference of students from all parts of the country and world. The hostel has a huge premise with a bustling environment and an abundance of parks and community places are also available. There are basketball and tennis courts in the hostel for the students to enjoy their leisure time. There's also a gym which is the biggest gym in the area, and it has all the equipment needed.

There are Academic Blocks, a Message and an Administrative Block in the campus. Each block serves a dedicated purpose and various programs have been divided amongst the blocks along with a uniform distribution of students in these blocks. The campus is very big, with a mess between 2 Academic Blocks; the third Academic Block is beside the second and the Administrative Block facing the mess. The Academic Blocks are equipped with classrooms, labs, faculty blocks and some food outlets. Every classroom is very spacious and centrally air conditioned, and has comfortable furnitures and a projector. The labs contain adequate equipment for performing the experiments, and the computer labs are good enough. The administrative block contains the library which is a quiet place to study in. The books provided are sufficient as well, and the library closes late at night for anyone who prefers to study late.

The overall campus life is vibrant and enjoyable, but it can sometimes get boring. People from all parts of the country are present in the campus which results in diversity throughout the university, from the faculty and the staff to the students. The crowd is decent and generally civil. There are lot of clubs related to a variety of fields, each having enthusiastic members who pursue their hobbies and talents through such clubs. A good club experience is only possible by living in GHS because most of them are based there. There's an Annual Fest named Oneiros, which lasts for 3 days and many programs take place during these 3 days. Various celebrities are invited every year and it’s usually amazing. Apart from this, there is an official committee in the university which is responsible for conducting sports activities in badminton, table tennis, football, etc. In addition, different engagement activities are organised randomly for anyone and everyone to enjoy. The overall campus life is very attractive, and anyone wishing to grow in life as much as in academics will have a great time here.
