My college life between 2016-2020.

Overall Rating
I have got admission in KCET by Anna University counseling as my college comes under best colleges in the list. KCET is the one college in Virudhunagar which provides Biotechnology course with less fees and lab facilities as compared coparable to other nearby colleges. I preferred KCET because it is near to my hometown.
 

Academics Rating
One has to clear the 12th standard examination with particular cutoffs required for each department to get a seat allotted at the college. In 2016, my college gave admission based on counseling of Anna university. The selection procedure may differ for management quota students. Biotechnology is a developing technology and in this course we had many lab sessions. My area of interest is biology, hence I preferred Biotechnology.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Biotechnology department are friendly and had good knowledge in their field of subjects. Each faculty has different teaching method. Mostly all staff members used LCD projector, PowerPoint presentations for teaching. Extracurricular sessions related to subjects for increasing interaction with students. Many of the faculties had experience in IIT and had good score in GATE. Project work of each staffs is very informative and is more valuable for the society.
 

Placement Rating
Yeah, There is a placement cell in my college. For each department there is a placement coordinator to supports placements for students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yeah, My college has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. They provide good food and accommodation for hostellers. Extracurricular programs were conducted for hostel students in hostel campus for them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college campus looks beautiful with the great entrance. The entrance has a statues of Former member of Lok Sabha, Former Chief Minister of Madras and a fountain surrounded by beautiful flowers and grass. Each department has lab in separate block and each block is surrounded by trees and plants. The college ground is very big, It has separate gym for boys and girls, badminton court and volley ball court. It also offers a specific place for indoor games. It facilitates the students with around 50 buses.
 

Campus Rating
During annual days and parent teachers meeting, parents and all the members attending the event will be greeted respectfully. During Virudhunagar Pongal celebration, pongal and sugarcane were distributed to all workers, staffs and students of the college. There are many clubs like singing club, rotary club, yoga club, etc. Every student should enroll their names in any of the club of my college.
