My take on the Infrastructure and Education at Greater Noida Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute provides a friendly environment and infrastructure to the students. The teachers are familiar with the current technical trends and teach us accordingly. The professors always complete the syllabus on time and always help us throughout the subject. From first year students to the last year, all the students are provided training for aptitude and soft skills along with the aid in publishing research papers and mini projects in second and third year.
 

Academics Rating
The professors are highly qualified and experienced and have an in-depth knowledge of their subjects. They provide us with accurate solutions for the questions asked by us. Many teachers have over 12 years of experience in the education sector. Along with academics, seminars and guest lectures are arranged from 2nd year onwards to enhance the students’ skills and make them familiar with the concept of current trends in technology.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very friendly and some of them even personally call you to ask questions which you didn't get in class. They understand the pressures we experience and guide us to calmly handle are studies. I have not faced any discrimination among other students and myself. Teachers are always aware about their students’ academic performances and are ready to help them every time.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average. I would not say it is that good but be ready to apply for off campus as well. Not many companies visit our institute for placement so always consider having a backup of walk-in interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel food is average, and the facilities are average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is pretty good with all the facilities available for the students. From seminar halls to drinking water and cleanliness, everything is perfect, and the institute also has a big ground and a basketball court for hosting sports events and other events such as fresher’s party.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is better than most of the institutes in Greater Noida as the faculty and staff are supportive and respect the student’s privacy. You can come to institute take as many classes as you want and enjoy campus life. It is quite easy to balance the classroom and campus life in this institute.

    GNIOT’s engineering is quiet good, the placement scenario are also good like 60% to 70% students get placed here. Mass recruiter companies like TCS also visited the college and some students got placed in other reputed companies in off campus placements through GNIOT Alumni network.     G.N.I.O.T. is good in terms of academics, because the placement is quiet good about 70% of students get placed.     I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from this college. I want to share my experience. This college lacks decent facilities and infrastructure. I attempted the JEE Mains in 2021 but did not succeed. If you find yourself in a situation like mine, where options are limited, you may consider applying here.
