Too good for commerce courses.

Overall Rating
Gargi college is one of the best women colleges in Delhi University. It is known for its academic excellence. I chose this college because of its high ranking, inclusive environment and other personality development opportunities. Others should also go for it as it provides diverse courses, women empowerment and excellent career support.
 

Academics Rating
Gagri college's B.Com hons. gives knowledge of finance, business and commerce with excellent faculty support. Eligibility criteria for the same includes, passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks and qualify CUET exam. For general category CUET marks should be around 750. It depends upon cut off of every year. My motive for enrolling in this course and in this college is its strong placement opportunity.
 

Faculty Rating
Professors have master’s degree in their respective subjects. They have huge knowledge of teaching their core subjects. They are active in research and publications. Their teaching style is student centric, combining theoretical concept with practical example. They use case study, real life examples and interactive discussion. They help us understand the concept with the use of computers and projectors.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Placement Cell of Gargi College help student in acquiring jobs in the industry. Deloitte, Tata Power, Zomato, and EY, etc. companies visit every year and do campus placement.

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 buildings. For Commerce, Arts And Science block. The campus is equipped with auditorium, smart classrooms, computer labs, science labs, botany labs, cafeteria, library, stationary, air conditioned classrooms, sports room, medical room, playground, basketball court, seminar hall, etc. Wi-fi access and counseling facility are also available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
One of the famous fest of gargi is Reverie that occurs every year in the month of January. Various cultural performances and artist performance (singer, dancer) are organised in these fests. There are many society students who can be a part of it according to their interest level. It includes Marketing Society, Enliven, Enactus, Kshitij, Drama Society, etc.

    Gargi College is one of the top girl’s colleges in India. For me, I just wanted to study outside my own state and for my subject that is Political Science ,it seemed to be a good option.
